Marriage, for fear of ending up with a miserable shrew.

Running over a snake on my bike, snake somehow gets wrapped around the rear wheel, not ground up in the gears, and proceeds to snap at my butt every wheel revolution. That's a recurring nightmare. (I have the double-whammy of weirdness with being an Aggie and a guy who wears Lycra.)

Had to look it up - never heard of that one. So how did you like the movie "Holes"?

Walking on an road in the woods at night by yourself stone.

When i was a teenager, i would go
over to visit a friend at night, his driveway was about 3/4 mile through the woods to his house. Lite up a joint and take off walking, about half way there i always thought i heard something following me, (never was) i would start walking faster, so would it, then i would bust out into a full run the rest of the way.

Somebody fricking with the front wheel on my bonneville, and the wheel coming off while riding.

This actually happened to me, though it was thankfully a rear wheel on a Grand Prix. REALLY good HS friends . Bump! Wheel goes rolling past me. Hmm... that's probably not good.

I mainly just worry that I'll never be able to get married, have kids, etc if I die young

I dont fear death, because when Im dead I'll be the one person who doesnt know it. I do fear the manner in which I die. The fact is that the majority of humans in history died very unpleasant deaths.

Hookworms and roundworms are real. I have a phobia about letting my kids play in sandboxes.

I don't blame you... Sandboxes can be really nasty places.

Flying. Not because it's uncommon, but because people will immediately begin making fun of you and saying things like, "You know, you're much more likely to die in a car accident."

No shite, Sherlock. But I don't have a phobia about car wrecks. That's like saying to someone with arachnophobia, "Yeah, but you're much more likely to die in a car accident than from a spider bite."

Well, yeah, but...I'm afraid of SPIDERS...

I have plenty of fears, I'm just not really ashamed to admit them, I guess
