I cleaned out my canoe early this summer and killed 11 black widows that had made a home inside.

It was limited to spiders, maybe if snakes were included she would have made the list, or a jellyfish if she was from Australia.

I've been bitten by a Brown Recluse..twice. Three years apart. Ended up in the hospital both times on IV antibiotics as well as having minor surgery each time. Those sons of bitches are no joke.

Spiders while fascinating are also just creepy. I am not afraid of them, but knowing that some may inject venom into you that causes death or other bodily harm is just nuts.

Got hit once. Still got a minor hole where the bite was. It looks about like I had a big mole removed (nickel sized). I had to go to the doc and get a shot and the bite lanced. Good times. Good times.

The first time I was bitten was during a camping trip in the northern part of Georgia. Second time was while cleaning out my grandmother's attic after she passed away. Hardly anything I had control over either time.

The initial bite didn't really even hurt at all...but once the venom started affecting the tissue surrounding the bite, it sure as hell did. Obviously it's an extreme unlikelyhood to be bitten once, much less twice. I suppose this was one of the more severe "wrong place, wrong time" occurences to have happen.
