Mizzou was a playoff team this season with:

- A better OC
- A better QB

We didn’t even need a better QB. We just needed an offense that took advantage of what we had.

I think just a good kicker gets us to the playoff. That seems to be the big thing missing since 2023.

We needed a better QB (Horn)...

With a better OC, we don't QB draw in game 1 with a true pocket passer who can read the field ...

Fire that count postgame tomorrow. The raging Vaginas hadn’t had a 140+ yard rushing attack since Sam Houston. They didn’t break 100 rushing yards in sec pls against anyone but OU prior.

They rattled off 218 with a mediocre passing attack from rag arm Manning.

We ran for 207 and easily should have run for more.

frick that rat bastard.

All three qbs are all second team guys on SEC teams, as far as we're concerned we don't have a true #1 qb.

Agreed.

Beau doesn't have an elite arm which lowers the success rate of several passing concepts. The overall lack of screens and routes to the RBs and WR screens has made no sense to me. Drink's 2021 offense was built around the RB and WR screen game. Badie was great but the rest of the skill group isnt close to what this team has. Not getting Roberts and Hardy in space on the perimeter is negligent IMO.

Manning has been underutilized in the screen game. He gets used as a blocker when he is the one guy other than Olugbode that is a physical mismatch for a CB to tackle.

Any young hotshot OC in a non P4 we could snag to make their bones here?

Edit: Hopefully one who recruits like a mofo.

I want Drink to throw the bag at Castellanos - yes the Boston College/Florida State guy we once beat. I want to see Drink with a true dual threat qb. The issue is that his eligibility is uncertain but that's the type of qb I want, kind of a Brad Smith-ish.

If we spend good money on a QB he had better be able to deliver the football to the right players in the right spots. Not sure Costellanos can do that.

Drink doesn't seem to prefer that type of QB. He didn't go after any of the dual threat QBs last cycle. He's like Ferenz, he has a certain type he prefers.

He's light years ahead of what we have.

I don’t want another midget dog shite passer. Roll with zollers with a real OC and qB coach.
