Do you know what he remembers about you ? Absolutely nothing

Do you know how much he cared about your opinion of him ? Even less

And I am very confident no one else here cares about your opinion.

That's not opinion. It's a fact.

don't see a Yost-led offense doing that against SEC defenses.

He had his warts but Yost would get more out of this QB, skill group, and pass blocking oline. Yost had one elite WR to go with an NFL arm. DX went off that season. The losses during his time werent just because the offense. That 2009 defense took a big step back in the secondary. Losing Hamilton vs OU in 2010 exposed the defensive tackle depth and both Nebraska and Tech ran all over them. Franklin played like a true sophomore in the middle of the season in 2011 but loss the to Baylor was definitely not on the offense. We will just have to agree to disagree.

Danario at k-state was ridiculous. Miss that offensive style.

His last 4 conference games were unreal. 49 receptions, 820 yds, 6 TDs.

He was fun to watch. Despite being a chiefs fan since Levy and the wing-t, I was a chargers fan for a moment.

Just not meant to be with his knees. Kind of amazing he put together the season he did AFTER recovering from so many knee injuries. Very confident he would have been a good pro if he had just had normal, standard knees. He was an electric receiver.

Its the same shitty calls every week. It lacks imagination and rarely attacks the true weakness of the defensive formation they are facing. It will be the same thing this weekend. The defense will keep them in the game and Drink will frick it up late.

I said this in the game thread but it bears repeating: That was the best 1st half offensive play calling since 2023. The running game was multiple and they built the vertical passing game off it. They were 4 or 5 calls ahead of the defense all day long. That was the unleashing I wanted to see last week.

Batoon did a really great job setting the front 7 today. The front 4 was disruptive and kept the LBs clean.

I'm repeating myself, but it's like they finally quit planning the offense around Hardy. Wish they would have had this revelation last week.

Eli playing to win rather than not lose. Dline, oline did a tremendous job. Simmons relaxed and on target. Roberts with an unbelievable game. Happy for him and glad he’s getting to show what he can do as RB1.

There were multiple play calls that looked imaginative and were outside the box thinking in a single drive.

Roberts obviously cranked up to another gear.

Really great showing by the whole team, including Blake Craig.

Great win for Eli.

Freaking Laulea was killing me yesterday in the first half. Oi vey, hopefully the coaches get with it and make it work. It's only going to get tougher.

Eli did coach not to lose. The team just overcame him.

1. Last possession before halftime. Drink drains the clock and then passes for FG position. He didn't use the clock to attack for a TD and plan the FG as a 2nd option. He drains the clock because he fears a turnover and leaving too much time for UF to respond.

2. Roberts 77 yard run was actually a give up run call. All the Gators did the weirdest thing. They piled on top of each other facing the sideline. No one sees the spin until he's at full speed running past them.

3. Roberts 80 yard run. Easy, UF defender doesn't cover his gap. If he does, Roberts can't hit the hole full speed. At this point you don't expect Drink to be aggressive, he likes the UF coach.

Drink likes to talk trash, but he still needs to develop that killer instinct.

UF quitting or being incompetent also helped.

We actually used Roberts in the dump off/screen game in the middle of the field ...

Progress.

Don't get me wrong. The play calling was much better. It made Simmons the focus and not zone running. But you could tell when the turtle came out. Roberts just pushed the turtle away and ran those 2 long runs.

They got 7 receivers involved and did great job of layering routes to attack the formation. It was everything missing from the plan in Starkeville.

He is a different back when they let him attack downhill BGap to BGap. It takes a different skill set to Bang, Bend, or Bounce running OZ. Roberts has to have that play blocked pretty well to be successful. It was nice to see the running game called to his strengths.
