It might help with the Gator Bowl. Jacksonville will be taking a QB in the 1st round of the draft, or should. Locals might come out to scout a potential draft pick.

Memphis is running all over UCF and holding on to a 10 point lead.

Meanwhile Kuligowski's DL is getting mauled by Georgia's OL.

Of the possible bowls, the least attractive game would be the Liberty Bowl. However it's the only game that I would be able to attend. So we will see. My wife already made reservations at the Big Cypress Lodge in Memphis in case that's where the game will be. I haven't been able to make it to a Mizzou game in years because of the hassle of living on the left coast.

It’s looking like the Gator or Liberty at this point IMO

I know it will never happen but:

Reasons the SEC should use their influence for a Mizzou,UCF bowl.

1. Mizzou is the only team that can prepare for Heupals offense in 15 practices.

2. Dont risk another SEC blue blood losing to UCF.

3. Nothing to lose. If Mizzou loses, we are just the Yankee newcomers not a storied SEC program.

4. If we win, they say imagine what would have happened if we sent LSU, UGA etc.

5. The narrative of Heupal abandoning Mizzou before the bowl game last season.

6. We would trash them, making CFB a better place. We are playing damn good ball.

UCF will be in a New Years bowl game, Mizzou will not. It’s probably Gator or Liberty for Mizzou

....and then they could punish us or stick it to the Yankees and send us to the Belk.

SEC teams selected by the Liberty Bowl since the tie-in began:

7-5 South Carolina (NR)
7-5 Miss. State (NR)
6-6 Kentucky (NR)
7-5 Arkansas (NR)
6-6 Georgia (NR)
6-6 Vanderbilt (NR)
6-6 Miss. State (NR)
7-5 Texas A&M (NR)
7-5 Arkansas (NR)
7-5 Georgia (NR)

8-4 Missouri (#24)

That would be some Big 12 treatment to ol' Mizzou

There’s not really a difference between the 6 bowl options Mizzou has. The payout is the same regardless.

I think Mizzou should get better than the Liberty, however it is a fun destination for a bowl game.

1. The Bowl parade on Beale Street, if you have kids... Go
2. The Pre Game party on Beale at one of the better bars, GO
3. The presser luncheon at the Hilton was a blast. You would have a table in the middle of all of the players, the coaches would be around you as well. Must make reservations with Kevin Alexander at the Liberty Bow before they run out.
4. The pregame buffet includes BBQ and Drinks, not a bad deal
5. Get chair back seating

You were in the Texas Bowl last year, right?

Yeah I'm not thrilled about the game or the matchup but I guess I will go to Memphis and check it out.

Not thrilled but it makes sense. Closest to campus and at least its not Shreveport. I don’t think the SEC was trying to screw us like the big 12 did. It was down to gator and liberty and gator wanted a&m.

Oh well.

It’s not the bowl that matters. There’s no difference after the NY6 allotment.

The opponent sucks hardcore arse though. Incredibly boring matchup. OkieLite? GTFO. That’s a Big shite opponent back to back years. frick that noise.

Would have rather played an ACC or Big Ten school.
