UGA will lose and fall down town to the Sugar Bowl. That causes the rest of the SEC to fall to worse bowls as well.

UGA, LSU, UF, UK, A&M, and MSST will all be in front of Mizzou in bowl selections. Auburn will probably jump in front of Mizzou because they will travel better.

SC may jump us as well, because every team that beat them is in the top 20 and 3 in the top 10(#4 UGA, #2 Clemson, #9 UF).

Mizzou will get screwed and probably get the Music City, Liberty, or Independence Bowl.

Auburn won’t jump us. This isn’t the Big 12

It's going to be either Liberty, Music City, or Outback. In that order

Lock is are best chance to get a better bowl. I think someone mentioned that earlier in the thread, but the talk on Jake Bentley moving up the draft board has picked up as well.

Auburn has one bad loss to Tennessee on the road and good wins against Washington and A&M. They should be easily ranked in the top 15, but blowing the games against UT and LSU screwed their season.

Auburn’s good wins would be another reason that could be used to choose them over Mizzou.

You know yourself that if Scar passes us in the bowl selection it's bs and very Big 12ish to let it happen.

We had a Liberty/Music City/Outback Bowl type of season.

No reason to carp. Take the bowl and get better for next year.

According to who exactly? Not doubting you, just wondering.

Was replying to JQ since he mentioned Auburn passing us, and now potentially Scar.

Well, we lost to them so that would be bad.

Auburn on the other hand...

Both are closer and will travel better. If we would have won Kentucky and South Carolina we would be playing on New Year's Day

Auburn doesn’t give two shits about this bowl game.

Mizzou would travel very well to Nashville. Probably just ok to the other destinations

Just checked latest bowl projections. 3 have us going to liberty, 3 have us going to nashville, nobody has us going anywhere else

I'm starting to think Nashville is more likely than Memphis

Mizzou fans barely travel to Columbia, Mo.
The bowl people like SC, because their fans travel well. They wanna stick us as close to Columbia hoping that we wouldn't have any excuses with our fans showing up.

Isn't the Liberty Bowl the lesser bowl out of the ones that we've heard connected to Mizzou?

No, the Liberty is part of the group of 6 bowls. They all have the same payout.

Issue with the Liberty is we will be playing some bottom feeder Big 12 school who will probably make our shitty pass defense look like the trash that it is.
