Brown leaving? rumor or real?
Kobe’s brother Kaleb is in the portal. Kobe needs to stay in the draft because of his age.
I saw Arkansas is in the running for Grant Nelson if he decides not to enter the draft. Kentucky missed out on Dickinson, so they will be too. Creighton will probably be the front runner. He is transferring from ND State.
Don’t think Mizzou has a chance with Nelson. The NIL Collective wouldn’t pay Cleveland or Shedrick.

rumors on twitterzz is Brown is considering Arkansas...
I am not sure how it happens. If we get who we believe to still be getting.
Crazy stuff.
so, your nil collective isn't dealing like KY/AR/Bammy? Dang shame, Mizzou could easily be a power in BB

In the last 48 hours the state changed the NIL policy which will help Mizzou be more competitive.

he is chasing money, his "agent" announced his decommitment and made a comment about looking for NIL deals.

Possible commitment watch: 4* SF Dallas Thomas (2024) is announcing tomorrow. Finalists are Mizzou, Clemson, Arkansas, LSU, & Memphis. None of the recruiting services have a prediction in for him yet, but On3 and its unreliable "prediction machine" do have Mizzou as the leader

I think Gates and CY are working and focusing on Marcus Allen from Miami as the SF in the 2024 class. He plays PF in high school, but at 6’6” 190 lbs he will play SF in college. He came to Columbia for his official visit last fall. He hasn’t officially visited any other school, so it looks like we have a really good chance at landing him. His visit was the same weekend as T.O. Barrett’s
Allen is ranked as the 51st overall recruit.

The one thing to watch here is that August 11th date. Peyton Marshall is a St. Louis native who lives in Georgia now. He was committed to Auburn, but de-committed when Wes Flanigan left for the same role at Ole Miss under Chris Beard

Missouri is in good shape here. There have been several independent recruiting sites with reporters who have indicated Mizzou may, in fact, be the favorite. Things have been quiet on the Mizzou side and we haven’t gotten any indication one way or another that Marshall is going to hop on board. But the trends certainly seem positive. So if they secure a commitment on the 11th from Marshall, that could impact some of the above visits.

Predictions for Mizzou for Marcus Allen and Peyton Marshall.
Both are making their commitments next week. This could be the start of a top 10 class or so. They are in good position with other 4 stars still as well.

Marcus Allen has been recruited by CY for 3 years.
It is probably between Mizzou, Arkansas, and Florida State. Stanford started recruiting late, but they will be in the mix. If I was his parents I would be pushing for Stanford.
It may come down to money though

Marcus Allen, the No. 55 overall prospect in the 2024 class, will make his college decision on Monday, August 7th at 7:00 PM ET, he tells 247Sports. The 6-foot-6, 190-pound power forward out of Miami (Fla.) Norland will decide between Arkansas, Miami, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio State and Stanford live on 247Sports. "I just felt like I found the right fit for me and I thought why wait. Like why keep going through the process when I know where I am going to go."
