The big boy was Tennessee. He's a double legacy, brother attends UT, grew up a UT fan. That's why UT fans melted so hard, this one was supposed to be an easy get for them, especially with Heupal and his QB Stat grabbing offense. They actually recruited other hihher rated QBs because they thought he was in their back pocket and they could sign him anytime. As long as Drink keeps showing him love, we should be ok.

STILL melting over on Volnation. Could go for some time yet.

Please don't go over there. More fun to watch them turn on themselves.

Top 6 but yeah. How awesome would it be to steal a instate recruit from Oklahoma for once!

Agreed... It's nice that the 58's are starting to take notice.
Having Wilks as DC has to only help I would think.

For the first time in my life I find myself interested in recruiting.

No more talk about "under-the-radar players" at least of yet.

Same here.. Don't think I've ever followed recruiting in March.

Usually we don't get our first recruit until late Spring. I've always said the most important recruit is Head Coach.

Not often one gets to witness an actual paradigm shift.

This is a really fun time to be a fan. So much promise. I feel like we have a very good shot with the TN rb Cody Brown. I dont know the last time we got a 4* rb.

N. Strong from ESL and Abbington from St. Louis both were 4*s and probably both overrated.

I only remember Strong in one game for a few carries. Abbington was a classroom casualty but if you watch his Missouri State highlights, he did have some talent.

That’s right. Forgot about them. Maybe we are better off with 3* backs after all. All of our best over the last twenty years have been under the radar types. Hopefully we can get cody brown and change all that.

Man, I really thought Strong was going to be a stud.

DERRICK WASHINGTON was a four star back was he not? Rivals lists him as four anyway.

Strong and Abbington were both huge gets that didn't pan out. Abbington was a stud in High School.

Abbington looked pretty good in the few carries that he had at Mizzou.
