You don’t have to be good to be a blue blood (although they did just make the playoffs). Of course they are consistently overrated. That’s one of the benefits of being a blue blood.

They have not been a blue blood program in the modern age of football and have only recently started winning games again at a decent clip but still getting waxed by the actual blue bloods of the present.
