This thread got interesting once I went to sleep last night. Define irony. A Kentucky poster calls out a Bama poster for saying Kentucky football sucks (and water is wet). The only person who ended up banned was another Bama poster?

See you are going to keep access despite all the BS you caused by me voicing an opinion on the Bama forum? Kentucky Football does suck and you got pissed about me saying it which caused the whole argument. But calling out Bama posters on our forum is apparently cool. Any kid choosing Kentucky when they have other SEC offers is pitiful. That opinion is based on the fact you guys are at best the 14th ranked SEC program (at least Vandy has academics)

You're just pissed I called you out on your idiocracy over a recruit and a lot of your fanbase agrees with it. It had nothing to do with saying "Kentucky Sucks".
I was respectful in the Bama Board, haven't trashed the Bama fanbase, etc. Why would I lose access because I've said what everyone is thinking?

What in that statement, facilitates any kind of decent discussion?
FWIW, it's not about "taking sides". It's about continually derailing a thread, of which there was sufficient warning.
SEC Recruiting is best suited for "arguments" and opinions like the above, imo. Help Board and RA's are best suited for situations one feels is in conflict with rules laid down by Chicken. Disagreements =/= to flames. As far as visitors to the Bama board, those treated with respect, give respect in return. It's a two way street.
The Elam situation will play out in short time and no matter which way it does, I hope he's happy with his decision. If Bama gets him, he will get playing time and will see the field. If Kentucky does, he will get playing time and will see the field. If a kid is good enough, he'll get to the NFL. Kentucky has put several folks in and it's no slight on Bama if he goes there. It's just where he's comfortable to go, and vice versa.

I thought we had an understanding with Kentucky that they get all our good in-state basketball players and we get their good in-state football players.
