Cleveland returning for Sr season

Love how much of a special teams weapon Cleveland has turned into. Wish we could get him a few more deep balls a game.

They'll come, but we need to start completing the short passes and of course, develop some vision to see open guys. I think the offense will be a lot more open next year, and I think Cleveland will have a very good season.

Riley Ridley, Hardman Jr and Isaac Nauta declare for the draft and freshman TE Luke Ford is transferring from Georgia to Illinois. Not a great day for Kirby Smart.
Plus Fields gone

I digress, Franks won't ever start on an NFL team, scout squad is his ceiling -- and even then I'd think he'd be on an XFL team before the Scout Squad.
You will choke on this statement Strawsy…….and it will be thrown at you when he is a high draft choice. Why the hell do you not support our QB? We know why. If you cant support him, then you shouldn't keep bashing him.

And just like that:
Nauta
Ford
Hardman
Ridley
Holyfield
Fields
Half of that offense been Thanos'd.

Grown fans “You suck, fk your mom you sorry motherfkr!” Franks “ssshhh” Fans “Omg! He cant do that!!” And hes the mentally weak one? Melt bitches :)
It’s because those fans know he was doing it to them . These fans like Straws blast him every chance they get but they can’t take it when he fights back . I could see fans attacking Mullen for playing Franks because he is the one picking the starters . But Franks doesn’t pick the starting lineup and he can only do so much .

Im just saying its so 2018 for grown motherfukers in the stands to think they can yell and spew any venom that crosses their lips to a player then get all holier than thou when that player tells them to stfu.
I have no problem with a player responding. its not like he went into the stands or grabbed his crotch ect. He put his finger up and these ppl melted.

We finished that conversation, all I'm saying is:
Football is a tough sport. If words hurt your feelings, you ought not be playing it. If you're playing as poorly as Franks played vs. UGA and Missouri, you will hear it from the fans.
It's part of the game.
What bothers me isn't that he hushes the crowd so much as it's the first thing he thinks of.
He doesn't think of turning to thank his linemen for blocking for him, his RB for pushing him into the end zone, his WRs for selling the play. Nah, it's time to go in on the fans -- fans that Mullen asked to come fill the stands and they did even though they didn't like the product.
No one's mad that he did it, it's just kind of pathetic that a guy, the leader of our team, gets so distraught and hurt that people don't like him that he melts down on the field and on Twitter. Most pro athletes are practicing with their team, preparing for the next game -- not going around reading Luke Del Rio and blocking randoms on social media.
I don't like his attitude and all things considered he's pretty mediocre, so the attitude isn't even warranted. Want people to stop booing?
Stop playing poorly. Invest more time in the weight/film room. Don't blame fans for your failure, blame yourself.
And with that, I move to stop posting about the subject -- because people here aren't really about listening as much as they are talking at others.

quote:Nice! Not worried about our WR corp.
Cleveland returning for Sr season
Cleveland could really benefit from an improved passing attack. He's still got potential as one of the better one-on-one threats in the country even if our offense won't fully take advantage of that.

Our receiving corps will be loaded next season, hopefully Emory can push for the starting QB job and we can truly open up the offense.

I think we're only going to be in minor trouble next year if we don't hit some targets for the 2020 class. The biggest issue is just age:
Cleveland Sr.
Hammond Sr.
V. Jefferson RS Sr.
Swain Sr.
Grimes Jr.
Green Jr.
Wells RS Jr.
That's a very, very old WR corps (not bad, just old) and so we need bodies to immediately come in and fill.
I think Pitts moving to WR helps that a little, but next cycle we need three. Marks (2019 class) is a project, Arjei we have no idea if he'll qualify (the powers that be believe he will), we just need bodies. If we get MAR we'll be okay, but I still think we need at least one more for the avalanche of players leaving next year.

Green is transferring
Lee and Fraziars, both listed as Athletes c/o 2020. Are they WRs?
