Did the WV transfer DT already leave or does he have another year in him??

Adam Shuler is 2020, so he should still have a year of eligiblity.

He played a lot of snaps on the DL and that helps us a lot with our rotation. The DL will be one of our strengths again, but we need to get some more talent for the near future.

Jon Greenard from Louisville officially announced his intent to transfer. Reports came out weeks ago that linked him to UF.

The OL scares me...we starting all over damn it.
Posted on 12/29/18 at 9:50 pm to reel_gator8
Agreed, that’s the most concerning thing for me going into next season

Not as worried about the OL under this staff.
DL concerns me a lot more.

Both lines being a concern isn't reassuring if we want to compete with UGA next season
But, dammit, DBU will be back

The DL will be stout, not a problem...didn't anyone watch Kyree Campbell play his heart out? He was taking two blockers with him into the backfield. He will be a true junior next year.
OL returns no one except our center who keeps whiffing on blocks. No one should feel good about our OL and lets all pray Stone Forsythe, Noah Banks (who has medical issues) Chris Bleich (r/s frosh) Brett Heggie, TJ McCoy (another center) Richard Gouriage, Griffin McDowell can play over their heads. We will be playing at least two true frosh imo to help us. This is why we recruited so many OL. You can have all the skilled players in the world but without blocking..it will be difficult. The second half of season should show some improvement with so many true frosh.

Lets hope Joseph stays and don't discount him...he is quick as a whisper and just watch the replay of meat chicken game where he breaks up a pass out in front of the RB and reached over to do it.

Did anyone notice # 30 get some snaps in the secondary? It was Amari Burney and his r/s was saved...he definitely looked like he put in time in the weight room.
DBU will be alive and well next year, Marco, CJHend, Trey Dean, Brad Stewart, Jeawon Taylor (he played a helluva game Saturday) plus Huggins (r/s frosh), Shawn Davis and incoming frosh. We needed an infusion since we know several will leave early in 2019.

Joseph would be a third or fourth round pick. I think he could raise his stock by being a bit more consistent but I'm worried about him, too
Zuniga's stock has dropped a bit. Hope he stays
If we get Joseph, Zuniga, and one of Scarlett or Perine to stay, I'm confident about next season

I kinda agree GG but the OL really scares me...Im hoping we can get a JUCO or a transfer to help us. Im serious, if you look at the roster and see who we have as backups who will now be starters...the number of game snaps is pitiful.
OL is the slowest position to develop as a rule, look at Bama's Alex Leatherwood who we tried to recruit, he was one of the best OTs in the country and he is a backup at Bama but Im sure next year he may start after two years there.

I thought leatherwood was a starting guard this year and played quite a bit for them last year???? Doesn’t really matter, just semantics and your point is proven true.
I’m hoping TJ Moore, a 4* kid out of NC I believe, will progress and get a lot of PT with Gouriage.

Leatherwood has been a backup and did get in the game against OU briefly at the end.
The point is valid that true frosh have a hard transition to make playing SEC football....some are quicker than others.
