Finchy don't be afraid to agree with me But it just makes sense with the year we had offensively and his demonstration of a pretty fair run ability and with experience and leadership...he should be the starter. Now add to the fact that if he improves as much from 2017 to 2018 as to 2019...we may have us a pretty good QB.

He needs to workout and not rest on laurels, summer training and more film and developing with Brian Johnson and Mullen. Again, the confidence is growing and he is developing into that giraffe body of his.

I just hope he isn't running for his life if the OL isn't ready yet.

I'm almost going to feel bad for you guys when he eventually does get beaten out and can't rely on broken limbs to bail him out. Almost.

That aside: The OL protected him very well this year, (contrary to claims made on this board) so he will need to make quicker decisions and learn to check out of plays more often which people have claimed/said he did in the Michigan game.

Rewatch that bullet sizzling to Hammond that was between 2 defenders.

Is he a great QB? No....not now but he may be before he leaves UF. Don't beat the "he will be passed over" drum too much Straws, he may be greatly improved in 2019, we don't know...but I seriously doubt he regresses. Sometimes players need a year or two to finally be the player that we all want.

If not, I will support whoever is QB. But I have a feeling.

He has a single pass like that every other game.

Instead watch Kadarius Toney running completely unguarded in the endzone not 12 yards away from him, right in his field of vision, waiting for a ball that's never going to get there.

This is the only one I can find where Toney is actually in the frame, but countless times we hear: Receiver X is wide open but Franks completely whiffs on the player.

This is a problem from game 1 just as much as it is from game 24.

Also: This has to be our last set of posts regarding this subject because the others have banned it, but at some point we have to come to terms that Franks is not the answer -- and the only reason he's playing right now is for a broken foot and Emory Jones being a true freshman. I'd be shocked if Emory didn't take over next year, and the only reason he doesn't is if he's not advancing as he should be.

You better watch Tua missing wide open WRs too in the OU game. No one has claim that Franks is great but he has the ability to be much better. The difference between me and you Straws is that I stated I will support whoever the QB is and you wont. Case closed.

The O line more than other factors may determine who plays QB next year. I will leave it up to the coaches and support whoever they say gives us the best chance to win. I believe we are in the best shape in years at the QB position. Franks has improved and hopefully will continue to get better. EJ has shown some skills both running and passing, JJones will be in the mix. But the biggest reason for the position being improved is CDM.
Go Gators!

Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and take this as a sign of victory.

Also: I support Gators who Chomp rather than shush their own crowd, who fight with other teams rather than their own fans and who know how to stay off Twitter.

Franks has improved those types of things over the past few games, but I think the proof is in the pudding that when it goes bad, he is very weak mentally. And that's all I'll say to end the conversation on this.

I think its hilarious how many grown men are still crying over a kid putting his finger to his lips after all they have done was talk shite about him all season.

Grown fans “You suck, fk your mom you sorry motherfkr!”

Franks “ssshhh”

Fans “Omg! He cant do that!!”
And hes the mentally weak one? Melt bitches :)

Yes.

Name one Quarterback in the NFL who goes after his own fans on the field. Just one.

Checkin' out after this, or at least I'll just talk about other stuff, like the team roster updates.

We’ve had many pro players go into the stands after fans for running their mouths. Franks put his finger up...

My post clearly says: "Name one pro Quarterback."

You'll be shocked to know this, but the QB position requires a lot more mental fortitude than any other position on the team. Thanks for playing, though.

Redskins wide receiver Terrelle Pryor had himself a decent game against the Chiefs,

You could have used Geno Smith. But he never started for a team full-time again after he cussed out the fans.

I think Tom Brady once said something along the lines of "frick you guys", Jay Cutler did a little but apologized. Nothing to the extent of being on the field and taunting their own fans, usually going to the locker room or on the sideline.

And you can't even really tell who he's talking to, regarding Brady.

I digress, Franks won't ever start on an NFL team, scout squad is his ceiling -- and even then I'd think he'd be on an XFL team before the Scout Squad.
