But we're THE ONLY program and state that allows them to do it on our Statehouse steps.

But we're also only 1 of...3 (I think) programs in the SEC where the university is in the capital city.

1 of 4 ... plus their own home state of Texas before ballgames against UTa when they were still playing them.

We're the only one.

Columbia, SC home of The Fighting Damn Gamecocks. (Yes)

Nashville, TN ... (No)

Baton Rouge, LA ... (No)

Little Rock, AR (12 times) ... (No)

Austin, TX (When they were playing UTa) ... (No)

We're the only one.

The only one.

Yeah, sorry for just getting back to this. Had to go see Bill Clinton this afternoon ... and, since you mention it.

While I was there, with a bunch of lawyers naturally, this whole thing came up with some of us were having drinks. The A&M asshat was there, the fricktard.

When I mentioned that about them not doing it in Austin I got shot down pdq. (gosh dammit, dammit dammit dammit I hate bad info) Then I was told that they don't do it on the front steps by the same person who told me they do do it in Austin. But I called a family member in Marfa to double check that and he said they do do it in Ausutin, on the front steps, under the arch (whatever that means) but they haven't always done it there and he's pretty sure they only do it there when A&M alumni are in the Governor's office. Otherwise they've had to do it elsewhere on the grounds and even out by some statues of liberty when he was in school so it's not written in stone that it's done on their steps and he said it's been held all over the grounds. (too confusing for me anymore and I dgaf about Austin anyways ... all I care about is the rest of the SEC)

He also said their capital building doesn't have near the history ours does .... and is about sixty years newer.

Listen, we've said do it on the grounds if you absolutely must ... but no other program allows it on the front steps. Not even their own state allows it depending on what year and what governor is in office. And do it somewhere else other than on the front steps.

They shouldn't even be on the frickin' grounds. Neither should the KKK. Both are equally disrespectful.

Finally, the last time they did it on the front steps in Austin was 2010 under Rick Perry and there was a big shite storm political deal made out of it even then that cost him with a lot of his UTa supporters.

Y'all should just turn the firehoses on them once they get started. Tell them they are welcome to hold their pep rally there but you'll have to hose them down with high pressure water and anti-fire foam the entire time. Purely for their own safety of course. You can't be too cautious.

Idk man....To be honest. I would much rather let A&M have their silly pep rally than the KKK. Like 1000%.

Also, it wasn't even SC KKK on our steps. It was NC's KKK.

I'm definitely in for a new rule. How bout if you arent from SC, stay the frick off our steps.

Sure was. This is one of the many reasons why Clemson belongs in the state of NC. Perfect match for each other. Everybody thinks it's there anyway. Make it true.

When was the last time you dined at the Elmwood Inn?

Wonder if it is still in operation.

As for education in our era, they certainly got us to learn history.

, I like that SC usually has shown up with almost equal numbers and chanted back. I think thats kinda cool and shows that both teams have incredibly loyal and devoted fans.
