As long as you're happy its all good. We can blame any weight gains on the stress Frank has caused us.

28-24 UK lead became a 36-28 UK lead at halftime. About sums up the season.

Frank doesn't look like the covid got him he looks much worse. Something else has to be going on with his health. He is is starting to look like the crypt keeper. Hope he gets well enough to travel soon.

I think it’s stress, that’s really eating him apart
He makes over $3m a year (which is in the top 25-30 on the nation) and isn’t bringing results
For a guy like Frank, I don’t see that sitting well at all

Why bother? Couldn't we just call a covid forfeit and spend the money, saved from travel ,for snacks in the football center?

Because the SEC would then probably make us forfeit the TV money our basketball team makes our school from the SECT

MBB is only behind football in the money it makes our school

it's almost over.

28 SECT for USC all-time. 21 wins 28 losses. 6 Semi-Finals (2W 4L) and 2 Championship games (2L).

here's Carolina's record in the SECT by opponent.

Alabama 2-5
Arkansas 2-3
Auburn 1-3
Florida 1-2
Georgia 0-3
Kentucky 2-3
LSU 3-0
Ole Miss 5-4
Mississippi St 2-2
Missouri 1-0
Tennessee 2-3

-Gamecocks have never faced Vanderbilt or Texas AM in the SECT

Frank Martin 5-8

2020 n/a
2019 0-1 (4 seed lost to 5 Auburn)
2018 1-1 (11 seed beat 14 Ole Miss / lost 6 Arkansas)
2017 0-1 (4 seed lost to 5 Alabama)
2016 0-1 (3 seed lost to 6 Georgia)
2015 2-1 (11 seed beat 14 Missouri / beat 6 Ole Miss / lost 3 Georgia)
2014 2-1 (13 seed beat 12 Auburn / beat 5 Arkansas / lost 4 Tennessee)
2013 0-1 (13 seed lost 12 Mississippi St)

Martin is 1-1 as the 11 seed playing the 6 seed.

So we've played Ole Miss 9 times but never played Vanderbilt? Interesting enough.

not as a first choice. maybe around 5th. I don't think he could do for basketball what Holtz did for football roughly at the same age in their long careers. Holtz was 62. Pitino is 68.

Pitino pissed a lot of people off in basketball with Adidas/FBI scandal. he's likely blackballed among handlers/shoe reps too much for any P6 job. I suspect he's at the perfect size/profile school for him to continue to coach and the NCAA ignore him. I don't think that would be the case for a P6 job.

right now, in today's athletic environment on college campuses, Mike Boynton could possibly break through recruiting top SC talent yearly to stay home and play for the Gamecocks. that would be the best fix that could happen in short order.
