We barely beat a 1-5 FAMU team. Conference play is going to be a disaster.

It is. And we were missing 3 players and hadn't played in a month so I did expect some rust.
With that said they nearly blew a late 7 point lead to a bad FAMU team and a guy that was shooting like 30% this year scored 21 on us. It was a typical Martin OOC game except FAMU was just bad enough to not hold on.

The last two years we’ve finished top 5 in the conference
And it doesn’t look to have gotten better

I know this may seem to be a farfetched idea but why not put them team in a bubble away from everyone else or just come out and say we opted out of the season.

We would have played our way out of the dance in the nonconference anways. See Liberty and Houston before the covid hit the team.
