It’s pretty ridiculous that even in situations like this it doesn’t knock down a buyout when a coach gets fired
Example: pretty sure guys like Bruce Pearl still got money even after he was fired at Tennessee

I don't know. I think that had more to do with people could see the writing on the wall with Dozier and Thornwell leaving + the university did a terrible job of actually promoting that as a ceremony/event to attend rather than just a game.
People care about basketball, that's part of why our arena is so large and one that does sell out or get close to selling out when we were good, we've just been so bad for so long they're beaten down about it.
With that said I would love to go back to 12,000 seat arena.
