1. Obviously we hired a coach who fits perfectly. No need to go on and on about this, but as long as Pittman wants to coach…we will be that team who shows up.

2. The brand strength is growing amazingly fast. See point 1. Also see Hunter Yurachek. Honestly, we have a shot to start seeing our recruiting improve, I still don’t expect Pittman to tolerate prima dona behavior.

3. I’ve learned something…some kids need a couple years to develop and learn. KJ would be the shining example. Let Hornsby do the same. (Some don’t….AJ Green…wow…if that cat gets better…wow).

4. Ladarius Bishop is crazy fast. Watch the replay of Spiller’s long TD run again. Look from whence 24 comes to run him down….sadly at the goal line.

5. Our lines….one through the portal and one through 18 months of the best coaching and development in the college game today…have transformed into solid, nasty, SEC lines.

6. We have lotsa RB talent to keep happy. Won’t be easy. Might be possible.

7. Mike Woods….feeling silly yet? Good. You should. PS, best of luck….we don’t miss you.

8. The college game has changed dramatically. Playing the transfer portal to pick up the free agents to fill your void will be as important as recruiting. Imagine our DLine without Williams, Utsey and Mt. Ridgeway….

9. We will eventually lose….but it won’t be because we weren’t ready or get outplayed. We are that team that you hafta show up and show out to beat now.

10. Add recruiting classes in top 15 and net positive results from the portal carousel every year….we replace Clemson as that cool brand that does things right and wins.

I think it was lincoln riley? that said he will recruit 10-12 kids from high school and the rest will be transfers...

Great point. I was thinking about this yesterday when Smith was getting all the carries....I think Pittman wants to do RB by committee but not sure how much he trusts the younger guys in tense situations. Hopefully they get enough attention to stay happy and stick around to be the next “guy” after Trelon Smith graduates

That was probably a dont put a freshman in a bad position away from home situation. Treylon Smith got all the early runs, once our offense was moving plug in the youngins and let them do their thing.

The main thing I have noticed this year is that us actually having a little depth on the Dline has been the real difference. Several games last year we ran out of gas up front and let games slip away. We have rotated without as much of a drop off and held up much better this year.

It happened in the Georgia, Miss St, Auburn, Ole Miss, Mizz and LSU (obviously since half the 2 deep was out) games last year. All of those save Georgia would have been wins if we have this years depth.

Picking up Utsey, Williams and Ridgeway was huge for this team.

I agree...seeing all our kickoffs go at least 3-4 yards deep (and most going over the endline) is pretty cool....and yeah...we got a kicker.

If Fountain recruited Little then he can stay. He sure can't coach on the field, but if he can haul in a kicker like that he's ok.

Remember...we offered a schollie to a long snapper for next year. Can't wait to see that.

That was incredible. Spiller looked like he was fast and our nearest players were doing their best just to keep up with him. Then Bishop comes flying from outside of the frame, passes his teammates and catches Spiller at the goal line.

It happened so fast that Bishop looked to be doubling the speed Spiller was running. Is his middle name "Flash"?

yeah, that shite on the first field goal where Kern and someone else didn't know they were supposed to be out there cannot happen. Iirc we had to burn a timeout.

also, punting is still questionable

Agree with everything besides the “Clemson does things the right way”

You can’t be serious.
