8 MIZZOU: Connor Bazelak
Well, he lit up LSU like a Christmas tree. However, he never really lived up to that performance, and his 400+ yard game stands more of a testament of how terrible LSU’s defense was. Though Bazelak did throw for 380 against both Vandy and Arkansas. That’s not a bad freshman year, and he flashed talent, even if he looked lost against the top teams. But even if he never develops further, he’s reached a level of Good Enough for Missouri. If he can bully the bad teams and lose to the top programs, that’s still a 7-8 win team and a nice bowl. Bazelak is on a nice Drew Lock career path.

This was during the COVID-19! No time to connect with receivers and there are now much better receivers coming in and will start and should be a lot better. Some never got a chance to show anything from the last class. Throw out last year season and this year will be a lot better and Bazelak was never the starter and didn't get the reps early on. Also add that Bazelak was still recovering from knee injury.

I have the link but I wanted to show Missouri and get this one out and explained what I disagree with the number 8 spot. You can checked the link and post your school and the part that talked about it. I do not want to take up too much space for each team.

Ball sack won’t even be the starter in 2022

How do you know? It all depends on what happens in 2021. The roster and other factors. Bazelak might make a huge improvement and got the team rolling and why change it if we are winning and competing. Might be 2023. That is not a problem unless he will go elsewhere. But give him one year to learn and see the field in limited duty and be ready for 2023. No one really know what going to happen this year with Bazelak. He might loses his starting job if the other is ready and know the system and doing much better. I think 2023 is more realistic when you have better OLs and receivers and TEs and the defensive players. Then you have good depth. All that should be set by 2023. If Drinkwitz see the need to put in different quarterback and try to win the east division I am all for it. It's a wait and see approach.
