That's difficult to project because it depends on the team he goes to. Same with Smitty...I think Chase will be a stud not sold on Marshall.
Yeah, I really wish we could have seen DJ Chark with any semblance of a decent QB in college or in the NFL for that matter. Hopefully he'll finally get that shot with Lawrence next year. He has a lot of similarities to Smith in what he brings to the table athletically, build, etc. but has never had the chance to really shine with the systems he's be in throughout his football career, but you certainly can't teach his 4.34 40 time coupled with his length

OBJ is overrated, but Jefferson has really outperformed my expectations.
Until the past couple seasons, OBJ's production was far from overrated. However, he's had some really serious injuries the past few years that have really cut him down.

Was really disappointed with Jeudy in particular, but WRs looking good year 1 is the exception not the rule.
I wouldn't get too down on Jeudy yet. His QB has been awful and he's just a rookie. His route running ability and athleticism should eventually materialize. His issue with drops this year isn't a matter of skill. He seems to just have the yips for lack of a better word. I think he'll figure it out and be fine. He held his own against too many future good NFL DBs in college for him to completely bust.

College or Pros? I think LSU has it in both but it’s closer for College, I think Ruggs is the worst WR on that list

Hill Country LSU wr's go back to the 1930's doing very well in the NFL.
Just look at the 70's 80's players.

Didn’t he transfer to SMU because he couldn’t get on the field?

Thought Chase would be the breakout guy, guess that remains to be seen.
You didn't see enough in 20 TD's in 2019?
He can't just jump to the NFL after his true sophomore year.

Very close. I think Bama is better at the top of the list but LSU is deeper.

I'll put both groups up against any in college football which is quite crazy thinking about how both teams were basically running power I football teams not that long ago!

Cyril grayson. From lsu track and field. Never played football at lsu but he was clocked at some ridiculous 40 time so have been signing him to their practice squads. He may not even have a reception in the nfl or in college lol

Now go ahead and do snaps played and overall contract pay.
Gimme LSU everyday when it comes to those things.

Yet LSU has a losing record against Alabama in their home stadium......

Think about if LSU and Bama actually throw the ball to some of those guys like today offenses.
Yea, a ton of those guys played during the Power I days

It’s crazy close. I like the depth of LSU more with guys like Bowe, Lafell, Doucet, and Randle that were notable for a little while. Bowe used to be fantasy money.

Damn. Some truly great players on those lists. Smith was an amazing player....Enjoyed watching him play against everyone but us.
I would have loved to have seen what OBJ and Landry would have piled up under a Burrow/Brady-led passing attack....Yikes

I'd probably prefer Waddle to Smith and that's really crazy to even consider. But if Waddle didn't get injured you could add another 7pts per game to the Bama offense this year. His deep ball threat really would've opened up the run game more and would've taken the double off of Devonta. Just crazy to think considering how good the Bama offense has been that it could have been, IMO, significantly more explosive with Waddle.

If I have to replace one of those three with Waddle, then I'm replacing Ruggs, not Smith. Smith has about as complete a game at receiver as I've seen: speed, route running, hands, leaping ability, toughness, an insane catch radius for a guy his size, and clutch as it gets. No way I'm taking him off the list.
Ruggs is a burner like Waddle. But Waddle might even have a little more explosiveness and skill, although it's largely still in the "potential" category at receiver since he was behind the other 4 until this year and then got hurt early.
