Notable Bama WRs:
Cooper
Ridley
Julio
Cam sims ( actually very underrated )
D. White
Juedy
C. Jones
Ruggs
Norwood
Maze
Stewart
Hall
Waddle**
Smith**
Upcomers
Metchcie

*equals soon to be in NFL.

LSU notable WRs
OBJ
Chark
Gage
Landry
Grayson
Trey Quinn
Tyron Johnson
Justin Jefferson
Bowe
Byrd
Sheppard
Randle
Holliday
Lafell
Reed
Marshall**
Chase**
Upcomers
Boutte (most rec yards in SEC history)

Think it’s close. Alabama is top heavy with Cooper Ridley and Julio. LSU seems solid all around.

Note: I took players from Past that were notable. Along with Players on active NFL roster. Also players that played in the NFL at one point in time. And notable players that will be drafted in upcoming draft. Oh and I added for each team an upcoming WR that shows great promise. If I left anyone out please let me know.

you'd be splitting hairs to say who, collectively, is better overall. Alabama has the best of the two with Julio. also wouldn't say Alabama is any more top heavy than LSU. Beckham is obviously hurt this year, but he, Landry, and Jefferson are just as top heavy as Julio, Ridley, and Cooper IMO.

Note: I'd also include Michael Clayton if we're going as far back as Josh Reed, possibly Rueben Randle as well. Devery Henderson is a pretty glaring omission. Trindon Holliday also doesn't belong. All he ever did in the NFL was return punts and kicks.

Bama. For both college and the pros.

Think about if LSU and Bama actually throw the ball to some of those guys like today offenses.

You are truly splitting hairs.

Several of those guys never realized their college potential due to inconsistent QB play at LSU.

We should probably just judge them on their head-to-head records and number of championships while in college.

I just deleted my post as troll threads waste my time, not saying OP is a troll.

Well Bama is the only team that compares to LSU in talent at WR and player production. And vice versa.

But yet that’s obsessed even though it’s a board for fans to discuss. Smh.

We tested this last year...

Plus Alabama had Waddle

Give me Chase, Jefferson, and Marshall all day every day and twice on Sundays

Closer than I thought. Bama has been a on WR tear since Julio, but LSU's list is stacked too.

Julio is a HOF lock which might put Bama over the top for now.

If going back that far, need to include Eddie Kennison too.

I think Julio being what he's been in the NFL likely tilts it to Bama. he's the only lock HOF of the bunch on either side and has so many NFL records to his credit. that said, both lists are impressive.

I mean yes obviously in retrospect at this point Landry and Odell are better, but in terms of single season production from a WR corps they weren’t even close to what we had last year

ETA: And if Jefferson in the NFL is any indication of how Chase and Marshall will be, then last years trio may end up better than Odell and Jarvis
