It also helps to cover the fact that Tuberville probably doesn't actually know very much about any of the issues, or government in general.
Ok, I don't know the whole back story here on why Tuberville won't debate, but I have no use for a candidate who won't debate

I'm sure Chizik appreciates inheriting that elite oline from Tubs, it helped a ton in winning that '10 NC.
They were very good and outside of Cam and Fairley the biggest reason AU won the title. I probably wouldn’t call them elite since none were really NFL talent types, just a group of good to very good college players.

I'd think that would only help his case in Alabama?

How many times has Jeff Sessions beaten Bama? or UGA? or won the SEC? Sessions' understanding of blocking schemes and receiver routes are light years behind Tubs. You think Sessions even knows what an RPO is?
I thought Sessions was an Auburn fan?

It's because he has no platform or positions other than pandering.

We're sending someone who has never been elected to any office to the US Senate with a political platform that's basically "I like Trump and God" written in crayon on half of a Post-it note.
better than sending a democrat

It will be interesting to see how being too lazy to recruit and holding auburn hostage for more money while off duck hunting during peak recruiting season will translate into being a US Senator. CTT used to literally stay away on duck hunting trips and have Jimmy Sexton negotiate contract extensions and pay raises before he’d agree to come back right around signing day.

tbh I would rather our elected officials spend all their time hunting and get out of American citizens' way

Session was loyal to a man who is loyal to no one but himself and he's getting what he deserved for trusting Trump.
He recused himself from a case that came to define the first term of Trump's presidency. I don't think Trump saw that as loyalty.

Tuberville is a fake-conservative grifter, Think Trump is backing the wrong horse here although I understand why

You do not need much of a platform when your two biggest opponents have as much baggage as they do. Sessions cared more for the DOJ institution than he did American and Jones promised to represent Alabamians, yet he ended up just a puppet for Chuck and Nancy. Tubs can pull a Biden and never leave his basement and still win by 20+ points.

Jeffrey Sessions is repub establishment to his very core. I haven’t lived in Bama since 2007 but if I had a vote on it I’d take Tuberville as I’m done with career politicians. But, ole Jeffrey Sessions is a good gentile Zionist so it’s win/win as far as I’m concerned I guess.

Yep, zero backbone. I'd vote for Tubs any day
