Oh how I would love for this to be true. But, it doesn't make any sense at all. Not one bit of it.

Charlie is a damn good guy to have on board short of being the head coach. Recruiting & culture are his strengths. If he’s still motivated & can adjust his DC skills to the spread offense mindset the game is in, he’s an unbelievable asset.

God help anyone who asks more than that out of him.

There is something to be said about having early success, getting out over your skis, learning from your failures and having future success.

Strong was always a talented coach with great recruiting skills. If he learns some good stuff from Saban, he could be a pretty good successor.

I think every team in the league hopes he gets the job.

My source has said that A Day will be a re-evaluation of Golding.

Golding should blitz and tell the defenders the QB is fair game.

Saban has informed Greg Byrne that he will be retiring after the 2023 season. Byrne approved Strong’s hire with the stipulation that he will be Bama’s HC after Saban retires.

Everyone who believes Byrd told Saban what he (Byrd) would run the football program from now on please stand up.

Me neither.
