Saban may retire at that point but Strong is never going to be the coach of Bama with that Texas stint on his resume.

There was an ESPN college football guy just on Bham radio saying he was in talks with a few teams about on-field coaching jobs before he took this job. So if he wanted to be on the field, why wouldn't he have taken one of those jobs?
