Seriously, everything about Joe Burrow is similar....from physical appearance, smarts, style of play, demeanor, even college backgound in that both didn't start till their later years in college.

So no hardware in college but all-time great in the NFL?

As a non-LSU fan, I'll take that.

Burrow certainly appears to have the tools to have success in the NFL, but let's not get ahead if ouraelves.

I'm in no way saying he will have success in the NFL as noone knows.... but he is the closest I've seen to a Brady clone.

I think joe burrow is like lsu’s Version of AJ McCarron. They haven’t had a good qb in so long, they go nuts when a decent one lands. Joe may put up good stats, but he isn’t nearly as good as LSU fans think he is. Much like McCarron. I do think Joe is a little better than AJ, but he’s no Tom Brady. Joe Burrow wouldn’t have been good 20 years ago. Not many of these modern qbs would’ve been. Lot different with all the dropbacks and stuff with under center football like it used to be. These modern offenses make these guys look way better tan they really are.

It’s Sunday morning. Most people have baby Jesus on the mind. You have Joe Burrow on the mind. And Tom Brady.

Get help.

Depends on which team grabs him. He goes to the Dolphins or the Bengals he is toast

Burrow is lapping McCarron in every statistical category this year. He will likely throw 45-50 TDs this yr if he stays healthy and already has 29. McCarron's highest total was 30. Burrow's completion percentage should be >75% for the year when all is said and done (sits at 79% today). McCarron's highest was 67%. YPA: 11.4 vs. 9.3. It's not even close at this point. Bama fans.

30 TD passes was high ten years ago. In twenty years, 50 td passes in a year will be nothing. Just average. Game’s changed a lot since McCarron. Also, I’m not a Bama fan. Not a fan of any team. Quit being an Alabama fan when they hired Saban. Quit caring about it all when the Joe Paterno thing hit. Just follow these boards because it’s a microcosm of what’s really wrong with the country. Rather look at the country’s problems through a football lens instead of politics. Teams and sides drive people apart. It’s hilarious watching people trip over allegiances.

So...he beats alabama in OT when Bama's kicker misses a tying PAT....I can see that (unfortunately)

There's going to be some snark in the replies. Here's the thing though. Tom Brady wasn't "Tom Brady" at Michigan. Brady threw for 30 td's total while at Michigan. Burrow will be drafted higher than Brady and there is a reason for that. I love to see guys drafted in the lower rounds become stars because it means they beat the odds.

I understand exactly the point you are trying to make. Oh and FTR, you left out SWAG.
