Wimp Sanderson tweets "Great time in Montana with Larry Blakeney, Gene Stallings, Pat Dye, Cliff Ellis, and Ray Goff.Always great catching and telling old stories with this group. Would you believe I am only 1 of 2 people in this picture with an IPhone!"

So, other than Wimp, who is the other Iphone owner?
I seriously doubt it's Gene or Pat. Cliff Ellis is my guess.

Better question. How many of the old double knit polyester metal snap coaches shorts does Ray Goff still own?

It’s clearly gene. Covering up the mess Dabo is making with HGH at Clemson.

I am not doubting that number because I have no idea but if true, its surprising.

Seems like every single person I encounter has a iPhone. Including me

That number isn’t that large in the US.
Android still holds the higher market share but it’s not 70%
It’s around 52%Android 47% IOS

Android vs Apple

Worldwide the open Android system dominates. In the US, I agree that it seems everyone has an Apple, but 52% use Android, 47% Apple and 1% Other.

I know a 1%-er that still uses a "dumb" phone.

I don't understand why anyone chooses to still use an iPhone. I have one for work that sits in a drawer at home with all calls forwarded to my Samsung Galaxy.

Because Apple isn't tracking my every move and keeping it in a database they share with others.

If you like the tablet, then iPad is the only way to go. And once you have one apple, get the rest Apple because they all sync up.

I've always liked my Samsung Galaxy phones and currently love my S10 5G. Got my twin girls an Android for their first phone, but all of their friends have Apple, so I just let them switch to the iPhone XS and they love it.

They don't have a problem negotiating the iOS system, but I can't figure it out. Seems like Apple has a few things the Galaxy doesn't, but also seems like the Galaxy does a few things easier or better than the Apple. So I guess it just comes down to preference and most likely whatever you started with will be what you stay with.

What phone do you have?

I love watching short video clips and looking at pictures on my phone. Plus reading news updates and playing some games makes the Smart phone a must for me.
