If I was a young shooter, AU would have my full attention with the green light philosophy.
Who are the assassins like JJReddick, Ray Allen, etc that we are getting a look from in 2020 and 2021 classes?

It should.
Shooters like to shoot.
Shooters like to shoot.

I agree.
Any names?
We need weak side post rebounders who can also stretch defense to 3 point line.
Harper and Brown are very good, but I wonder if we might get draw some highly rated 5 star shooters in 2020 or 2021.

Agreed. A talent like Tyler Herro could average 18+ with high efficiency with us. Hopefully the next Tyler Herro sees that.

I use to sort of think a 3 was settling, but now I understand how the game has evolved.
Basically, dunk if you can, shoot an uncontested 3, or back cut if they overplay.
The only downside I see is we shoot very few foul shots per possession.

That’s where we miss Heron he could drive and get to the FT line

Yup. There are some players in the NBA for whom shooting an open three from the corner is effectively a better shot to take than a mildly contested layup because of the extra point.

And big men like to rebound. Should give them plenty of chances, too.

Hopefully we are attracting elite stretch 4/5 guys, those are the ones that will turn us from a 5/6 seed team to a NCAA tournament favorite
Finding athletic guards who can become elite shooters is easy
Finding coordinated big men who can become elite shooters isn't so easy

As a short, slow, melanin challenged individual, I love the low post game. It pains my soul to see these kids hoisting a three every possession without feeding the low post. I wish Wiley wasn’t made of glass. I’d pay money for a Barkley or even a Mamadou.

Hate the three. Low the low post.

I don't get the love for low post play. Who wants to see that ugly AF, slow basketball?
It's like people who want football to return to playing under center and running exclusively RB dives. The ole 3 yards and cloud of dust offense

I love it as an option and just another tool in your arsenal, but would hate it as our primary offense.

Agreed.
I mean, I loved watching elite guys like Shaq work in the post but he was a generational talent.
At the CBB level, we are likely to go through 10 Rob Chubbs before getting even a

Why? We are clearly better when he is on the bench

Absolutely this. Do you love our style or Mark Fox’s UGA style? It’s not even a reasonable question

The last 3-4 games Wiley has been a very valuable asset, particularly on the defensive side. He made multiple key blocks and rebounded well.
I do agree the key is getting a stretch 4. Okeke has been a nightmare matchup for folks. If you put your 4 on him, like Williams, he will drain threes stretching the defense. If you put your 3 on him, like Florida did, he can just post them up.
