We only have one QB in Matt corral. Even if John Rhys plumleee eventually plays another position he will be given shot at QB. May play DB down the road. But may be a great QB in the rich rod system

I guess that’s why he didn’t go to Georgia because he’s not playing QB for them. If you want depth at QB why bring in 3 freshman? Awfully early to write off Dent only comparison I draw between him and Ryan is they played prep ball in Jackson. Plumlee is too athletic to not try and get him to play another position.

Im glad to have him on the team. But I've seen that guy roll through ole Miss too many times. This isn't the orgeron years. We are on a different level of QB now. Corral and Tisdale have that. And so does plumle. From the tape I've seen. Dent may turn into all world player but I just see the odds as low.
Looking at the depth Chart. We need 3 QBs one to be the backup and 2 can redshirt if need be.
I could see plumlee playing special teams early in the season next year

Get ready for lots of read option qb carries, and, therefor, qb hits. We will need some backups. We kind of dogged Mullen for running his qb's so much and getting them hurt. We just hired the guy who invented that game. I'm hoping RR and Mac really recruit their asses off this next cycle. We need coordinators who are all-in and working their arse off and a willingness to recruit is a sign of that. Time to get some local talent to stay home.
