For some reason, I thought Bobo called plays for the sugar bowl against west virginia. That may have been when Martinez took over the defense, though. I may be confusing the coordinators.

Martinez was most definitely the defensive coordinator at that time.

Murf Baldwin has posted a quick video/interesting angle on his Top Billin' channel. He's proposing Kevin Wilson former OU OC 2002-2010 and IU HC now Co-OC at tOSU who may be coming available with Day coming in.

Thoughts? LINK

Would be a great hire, but I don't think there is a chance in hell of it happening. It will probably be Coley.

not a huge fan but it sounds more and more like it will be Coley anyway

I wanted Kevin Wilson BAD when IU fired him. I’d be all over it.

I think they should go hard at gran. He already has his own pipeline in s. Florida like Coley.

Wealth of experience within the sec and is great at developing backs into his offense.

Me too. 2008 Oklahoma is still the best college offense I've ever seen. That is the one time I actually thought the layoff between conference championship weekend and BCSCG hurt a team. Before that, they had scored at least 58 points in 7 straight games.

They did pretty well at Arkansas together.

Exactly what I remembered. I remember even in 08 wanting him. If I were bad enough of an employee I’d go dig through my post history and find my ramblings on him.

I don't think Smart will let a dynamic OC wheel and deal with his offense.

He's looking for that compromise play caller, and it should either be Gran or Coley.

Might get your wish.

Matt Jones with KSR reporting Eddie Gran offered the Georgia OC job.

He and Coley coached at FSU together, so maybe not.

This. Kirby isn’t giving an OC total control. Kirby is a control freak, the offensive scheme goes through him.

Kiffin? Not No. HELL NO!!! Kiffin only cares about himself. He’s failed more than he has succeeded, and on top of that his childish antics have the potential to derail the locker room at any given time.
