With 2 losses and nothing to play for, Lsu will lay down if Bama scores early. If the score reaches 14-0 Bama in the first quarter I expect a 35-7 type game.
LSU is not as familiar with lying down as Arkansas is. Well, there was that one time in the Dome...

Is this the most underwhelming LSU/Alabama game since 2010?
In 2012, LSU had already proven that they weren't very good when they lost to Florida early in the season, the same Florida team that will lose to Vanderbilt this weekend.
Are you like, STUPID ???????
Florida was a Top Ten team 13 months ago when we lost to them at Gainesville 14-6.
LSU's only other loss was to #1 Bama at home. We had a 10-2 regular season. How in holy hell is that "not very good"?
And, PLEEEEEZ explain to me how Florida of 13 months ago is the "SAME" team that plays this Saturday? You must be high on something.
Also, you're saying Alabama didn't look "remotely beatable" vs Texas A&M ???????????? Wow.....
I enjoyed my visit to Starkvegas. What a wonderful reception in the stadium.
I heard some hick swing a cowbell right behind my ear.
Instinctively, my head turned due to the unexpected racket. Apparently, this is an insult to Misery State fans. Just because I involuntarily reacted to a foreign sound by jerking my head around, that INSULTS Misery State fans ?????????????????
I spent the whole rest of the game with child-like Barney Google imps swinging the goddamn MFing cow bells right behind my head, JUST because I turned my head ONCE ????????????????????????????????????
I have now told all my friends not to even DARE to so much as turn your head in the Cowdung Dump. It's an insult to the "Wrong Turn" types that go to that place.
You subhumans DISGUST me...........

Oh really? The same Florida team from 2012? What an idiotic statement.

LSU had already lost two games, one of which to a team whose entire starting roster was in jail or something.
This made me though.

Underwhelming is relative. Since 2010? Sure, because the last 2 years had huge implications and a compelling storyline. But Bama is undefeated and LSU is still a hella good team even with their losses. It should be one of the better match-ups this season, trailing only Bama/TAMU and LSU/UGA (and LSU/OM, though not as many people saw that one coming in terms of a great game.)

Actually, that happened in 2012...

MetryTyger brings some valid points to the board that I can't argue against.
Goldrush, take note.

In 2011, both teams were undefeated and everyone was questioning who was the better football. Turns out, Alabama was. In 2012, LSU had already proven that they weren't very good when they lost to Florida early in the season, the same Florida team that will lose to Vanderbilt this weekend. Predictably, Alabama won. In 2013, LSU had already lost two games, one of which to a team whose entire starting roster was in jail or something. Alabama on the other hand, has lost no game nor looked even remotely beatable in any of their games.
At least LSU is still in a position to make the SECCG; however small the chance. As usual, the Grinders were out of contention by the end of October.

THis is the most underwhelming game since 2007 when we knew we had 0 chance of winning. We will have to screw up a lot and LSU will have to play their best game.

Maybe we don't care about the SECCG, maybe we just play out of great love for each other and the great Mississippi State University.
