I mean it wasn't like we struggled, 4 turnovers and Ladd having a horrible day and a dropped TD pass. Also there were a lot of 3rd and 4th string playing on D extremely early which is highly unusual. I'd like to know why. Maybe the others were being sent a message idk

No one felt the least bit threatened by KSU. The crowd started thinning out after the half. The commercial timeouts were so numerous and lengthy it was hard to focus on the game. You’ d forget what was going on. When they finally did resume the game you had to figure out what was happening only to have another time out called a couple of minutes later. It was horribly disruptive and I can’t blame the players for not being able to get focused. It made for a boring game for the fans

But that's typically how a really good team loses, by doing atypical bad things. It's what Bama fans get teased about when they say "we beat ourselves". At the end of the day it's the winning that counts.

Yea I'm just glad it was against Kent state and not anyone in the SEC or it likely would have been an L. Hopefully that's our bad game of the year

Not sure about playoffs but LSU will end up way better than last year. The West looms more wide open than the East. Bama has shown signs that a few West teams could beat them this year. Need more than 1 team in the West to pull it off though.

I haven't watched any Ole Miss games in full but I have watched a few minutes of several games. Maybe I just saw the good parts but Ole Miss looked good in the parts that I watched.
Of course I've been watching A&M all year so maybe it's just the contrast to the pathetic football we have been playing.
