Only 11 universities total did it across D1.

If bowl season is counted I reckon NIT should count as well

Why the asterisks on the last two?

They were bowl eligible but choose not to play.

Big 11. Cream of the crop right there fellas. Those 11 schools are the top tier of college athletics. All of them are well rounded programs.

If bowl season is counted, anyone with a record above .500 should count.

The only school who deserves to be on that list is Michigan. They actually made the playoffs in college football.

Yes, because an athletic dept. is about football only...............or so claim the ones with only one bullet in the chamber.

What the frick are you talking about? The above is based on schools that made it to post-season play.
Well in basketball and baseball, if you make it to post season play, it means are you are still in contention for a national championship.
In football, the only post season play that mirrors that is the playoffs, and the only team on the list in the OP that made it to the playoffs was Michigan.
Because making it to .500 isn't really shite in football. And you don't even need to do that sometimes.
frick off with these Vandy level goals of accomplishment.

TS forgot about the NIT. D'oh!

Bowl games outside the CFP 6 should not really count.

Considering teams that break even in records are bowl eligible, this list doesn't seem as impressive anymore. Even less if you consider the NIT, which is a backup postseason almost as useless as the Duke's Mayo Bowl.

Only three SEC schools start with an “A” and only about twenty nationwide. And Alabama is number one alphabetically. By all accounts an “A” is better than a B, C, G, F, M, S,T, V, etc.
Hah hah.. you are all losers to the first and foremost “A.” Gosh, gee, I feel like such a winner now that my school is the biggest mostest “A.”
PS: u stopped to marvel how some of you people really have to reach to find something to posture about.
