I know the record doesn’t show it but I see players that have gotten better throughout the season.

What ya got?

Bo Nix was not the reason Auburn lost 6 games. He improved and only had 3 INTs on the year.

I don't count the one against UGA. Shivers dropped that ball.

Harsin was willing to pull Bo and it paid off in a couple of ways.

Harsin made a change at WR coach and it probably helped (although the hire falls on him)

I think on offense we've been a bit less predictable, although the end of the year saw plenty of futile play calls and some completely ridiculous ones too

I don't put a ton into the Alabama performance, but it's probably a good sign that we pulled out of a collapse to show a lot of fight despite key injuries

Bo was up and down, but he showed more bright spots this year than last season and was trending upward overall

Team never quit.
Staff should be intact to start next year.
We may hit the transfer portal hard.
It's basketball season.
We have Bruce Pearl.

Really impressed how we took a Utah State, Kansas and UAB DL transfers and preformed well on the DL. Rodger McCreary elevating to one of the top CB in the country has been great go watch. Our LBers are under sized, but played out of their minds at times.

On O, the Kobe made some improvement. Seeing our TEs utilized was great. Patton has been great after Carlson went down. He is in a hard spot.

I'm proud of the fight Auburn showed against Bama. I hate both the coordinators and I'm not sold on Harsin either.

I agree with this. Except a couple things. He was willing to pull Bo once then that willingness didn't continue for other games, and other QBs. I feel like Harsin is playing the long game with the players on the bench that should've been in though....that's one of my only feasible reasons those players weren't in the rotation more. The only other reason would be him handing that power more to his OCs and the OCs not doing that part of their job well. That seems like it would be more difficult to do stuck in a press box. Harsin should have more of his system implemented next year if not all of it which should make it work better. Hard to say if his system will continue to use Bobo though.

I feel like Canion, Capers, to name a few should have been in rotation way more than they were. Those guys excelled at A day, but then hardly saw play time during the season.

I believe the only reason he went with Cornelius as the WR coach was that he was someone local that seemed to have a connection to the area, he was very young in the coaching spectrum which didn't make sense for him to be a big time school's assistant yet. Also Troy coaches don't seem to do very well at Auburn...Franklin days.

We were prepared to play every week except GA State.

Just have to figure out how to maintain for 60 min. and do better with countering adjustments.

That's a start but I don't think depth was ever the issue in the games we lost this season.

I mean there's no way our defense got tired at halftime of the Miss State game. We dominated Alabama for 59 min. and even defenses with depth get winded after 90+ plays. I think South Carolina scored more in the first half than the second.

I don't know if it was just a lack of focus or adjustments or what but I don't see where it was ever a fatigue issue.

Unlike previous seasons, I felt like this team competed in every single game.

I saw player development

Harsin is not shy and will make changes where needed.

Harsin has a plan and it's not a one season plan, but changing culture from inside out

Saw great effort

Bo improved, but would revert to his backyard play here and there. I think he can be even better next year should he return.

Receivers performed better after the coach switch and can only see that get better from here.

Saw some real potential of what our D can be like especially if we can created depth with little drop off when subbing.

The biggest positive is there is now a transfer portal that may negate a Miss Stateish recruiting performance

He is learning that you have to (in his words), recruit, recruit, recruit. He saw players better than he had ever seen and did not understand the type players Bama, LSU, TAMU, UGA had. Also that you have to have depth and then more depth because the SEC is brutal.

Another positive is that if we don't go brain dead, we win MSU, USCe and Bama.

I think that falls on gus. Not having any serviceable lineman on either side of the ball. Granted we lost a few to the portal but they turned out to be busts where the went. I think harsins coaches know what they want in the players. But just having tough hard-nosed guys will go a long way. I look at hunter when I think about the type of players harsin wants at auburn. He may not be a 5* but he plays his tail off
