3rd and 1 on ALA 37

First down wins the game

They know we are going to run, our QB looks like a Pirate with a pegleg and is throwing ducks.

Maybe we should take out Finley, get another blocker

Instead, lets do a handoff from the shotgun

We could have done the Wildtank or Wildhunter multiple times this game in obvious run plays.

What difference does it make if our OL can’t block and everyone in the stadium knows what’s coming

I wonder what happened to Demetrius Davis. Looked like a stud when he got to campus.

My guess is that Harsin, or Bobo, didn't have a play designed and ready to go. Hell, I doubt we'd practiced any such thing. No WildTank, no heavy Goal line set with a FB or tight end to block... it's pathetic. We make 1 yard, we win. Tank stays in bounds, runs out the clock, we win. We go for 2 after the TD in overtime...

For all the flaws out there on the field, there were more on the sideline and up in the booth.

Probably none but an extra blocker in the Wildcat can help with penetration which was a major issue all night.

I think even with a gimpy leg, a 6’7 250 lbs. QB should be able to fall forward for 1 yard.

One would think, but then you look at the dude’s legs and he looks like he’s never done legs in the gym. He likely has no drive behind his pads.

We could have had 8 extra blockers and it wasn’t going to make a difference on a play that bama knew was going to be a run.

As for the D Davis comment, is that really when you want a freshman QB that hasn’t take a single snap to get his first action?

He’s definitely soft to be so big. Panicked and ran backwards like he was going to get broken.

I’d have been good with trying a quick pass on that play. Bama was selling out against the run. Gary called it. We all saw it coming. Our line wasn’t blocking at all.

Play action pass. First down. Ball game.

But none of the what ifs can get us the victory. Only hope is that this performance got the attention of some top recruits and builds momentum for 2022.

Putting Hunter and Tank the defense has to at least respect the "QB" keep and stop the edges from just crashing in.

All eleven defenders were in the box. I was screaming for a play action pass.

That was my first thought as well. It's not his game to tough it out, plus he's on a bum ankle, so he's not getting much out of those legs even if he does try.

All we needed was a Wild Tank and a Shenker whirly bird pick to complete the Iron Bowl. ??

When we saw bama with 11 on the line we should have called a time out with one sec left in the play clock and figured out our best play
