Should the Committee leave UGA at #1 even if they lose to Bama?

We know they aren’t going to put Bama/UGA at #1 and #4 or #2 and #3 to avoid the instant rematch.
So how do you rank them? Leave UGA and #1 and Bama at #2?

Probably drop out of the top 4. Georgia wouldn't have beaten a team with fewer then 3 losses. Georgia's schedule is AWFUL.

If Alabama beats Georgia and it's close.....and Georgia stays in the playoff hunt.... Alabama would jump up to #1 and Georgia would move down to #3.
Who knows, really? I don't think they want to take a chance on another SEC rematch for the title, either.

We just need Cincinnati to lose.
No one wants them in the CFP, other than the 10s of actual Cincinnati fans and the ideologists that think Group of 5 teams are really national championship caliber.

If bama beat Georgia they would have 2 top 10 wins. Why wouldn't they be #1. Who else would have that .

3. Michigan
4. Notre Dame
