Sure there is. It has shown flashes of being elite. It is what it is this year. But it can be improved.

Maybe so. I will also say in a year coming off off our 6th Natty we are still in the thick of things. Not trying to get our first one since 1980.

Golding may very well be a great X and O coach, but he’s relatively lifeless on the field. And his guys, at times, mimic that lack of intensity.

The guy doesn't understand that coaches are suppose to make players better. They're suppose to COACH them.
He thinks players should be fully developed from high school and just slot right in playing like superstars and if they don't the player sucks.
I mean he whines about players being trash but his boyfriend Golding can't even scheme around weakness. He literally exposes our weaknesses any time we're in a 3rd and long or 4th down situation

Allen was a sneaky big loss. We had talent behind him but not finished products. Hate it for him too, I think he was set for a big year opposite Anderson (maybe like a second day draft type season).
This defense isn’t bad at all (in this day and age) it’s just not great (mainly inconsistent). Expectations turned out to be just too high for this group.
I’m not sure HT has been 100% since the elbow first game. We also have had more recruiting misevaluations than usual (sometimes the ball bounces your way and sometimes it doesn’t). In fairness though, we haven’t seen the development from several players you would expect.

#8 is Harris, #9 is Battle I believe, and #2 is Hellams.
May have gotten the names wrong. I pay more attention to numbers than names unless it’s a skill player, or a freak like Will Anderson.
