UT needs to pony up big time to keep him. They have got to end the turnstile HC there.

frick it, I'll defend Tennessee.

I think UT is a better job than OU or will be in about 3 years max after OU joins. They are both incredibly similar though.

Heupel should stay at Tennessee
It's a better job than Oklahoma as long the coach doesn't frick it up. Also, going back to your alma mater isn't always a great idea. Scott Frost can attest to that.

Riley isn’t leaving OU but even if he did there is zero chance of Heupel coming back. There is too much bad blood leftover from when Stoops fired him as OC. He still refuses to talk with local media here

Riley isn’t going to LSU and neither is Fisher.

ON THE SPECULATION ABOUT THE LSU JOB: “It’s nothing to handle. I mean, it’s pretty easy. You know, I coach The University of Oklahoma Football Team. And you guys know me. You know how I feel about this place and this program. So, we’ve all been down this road many times before. You guys know where I stand on that, and that hasn’t changed.”

I don’t think he is going anywhere. This reminds me of every year Bob was going to Florida or Notre Dame, Ohio State etc…It’s the same thing with Riley. He didn’t goto Dallas and he’s not going LSU.

that was exactly why I said OU does not seem to be worried about losing Riley. Huepel may be their plan b. Only thing is B Stoops fired him several yrs ago so not sure if he would take it.

You sec people are not very smart …. There is not one reason why Riley would go to LSU …. Zero…

If it was about money Riley would be payed whatever LSU offered .
OU historically and today is a better job.
OU is recruiting at a higher level today and in 2023 than LSU

And today OU is lights years better than LSU….

Why anyone would think this is serious hasn’t been around football for long. If LSU fans are starting this rumor then man I am going to start putting you in a category 1 level for the biggest group of idiots on this board and that would take over A@Ms fan base.

Go listen to his press conference today and he’s been saying exactly what I said last week, month lifetime ago.
