It is time to start including Texas and Oklahoma in our rankings considering that they...

will be here next season.
We need this information to analyze the math going forward.
So far is...
#1. UGA
#3 Oklahoma
#4 Alabama
#12 Ole Miss
#15 Kentucky
#17 Texas A&M
#22 Auburn
#28 Arkansas
#32 LSU
#37 Florida
#38 Texas
That is 11 teams in the SEC out of 40 available rankings for an average of 30 percent ranked out of 40.
If things were equal, then all available conferences would equal 16 per cent per conference.
The future SEC accounts for almost 30 percent of all rankings at this moment going forward.
That is 1/3 ownership of college football after sharing with all other conferences.
Those are outstanding numbers.
I can see the decision to add our two newest members.
This is going to be fun!

Way too high, I can’t see how they beat Vandy, Vandy probably has more NFl talent

If there is a bright side to OU being in the SEC it will be to see them get their losses earlier than usual so they are not overrated all season.

Going to enjoy every minute they aren't in the conference.
So....piss off.
So....piss off.

Lol. I give it 50/50 they come at all. They both suck donkey balls. And the playoff expansion isn't a sure thing like everyone thought it was going to be.
Texas and OU will not sniff a playoff in the SEC, and they know it. Don't be surprised if they back out altogether over the next year or so.

They won’t be here next season. But it’s likely that it happens come 2023

In 2025 we should consider it

So how about the OP take a ban if they aren't here next season
Posted on 10/20/21 at 7:55 am to AU_Plainsman
naw, I'm wishing that something happens before they are in that sends them elsewhere.

I am happy to see it, but I don't feel its a really good comparison as in most cases SEC teams at least play half of the same teams, OU and Texas do not and really shouldn't be considered part of the conference for lists such as this until we actually do play SEC conference games its just apples and oranges.

Come on painsman, how many of those near-death experiences that Oklahoma has already had this season with Rattler at the controls would have been losses in the SEC?

No they won't. 2023 is most likely
