Gonna start with one that many will be mad at me about but, Chick fil a.
Went to pick up dinner for the woman today, line was around the building to the edge of the parking lot and spilling into the road
It's good yeah, but it ain't that good.
I've also noticed the chicken lacks a distinct flavor it used to have (different breading mix?) but thats besides the point. No other place gets pounded that hard and it's excessive

Agreed.
Steak n Shake is up there. It’s not nearly as good as it used to be. Whataburger isn’t either.

In-N-Out
They have without a doubt the WORST fries. I really don't know what the frick these guys are thinking, other than to say - we just don't know shite about cooking fries. And yet they try to pretend like they are super fresh because they run the potato in the slicer right before it gets fried.
No, that's terrible. That's a bunch of nasty starch taste. You gotta blanch those frickers and do the shite right. How are you such a big chain and selling these shitty fries?
The burger are decent, but the patties are small. Not worth it with those fries though.
I like Chick-fil-a. But it's not somewhere I got frequently. I'm not big on chicken sandwiches, but I have no complaints when I eat there.

I'll largely agree to chick fil a
It is good chicken for fast food, but definitely not the crack some people make it out to be.
What I don't get is the love for their waffle fries and biscuits. The fries are bland, and the biscuits are like eating detergent
Chicken Minis are the bomb.com though. I could smash 8 every single morning

It used to be the bomb. Steakburgers were actually made with steak. It sold a while back and it’s been downhill since then.

It's the entire package, food, service, cleanliness, attitude that puts them on top.
All fast food restaurants, all restaurants in general should follow their model.
O'Charley's is overrated IMO.

Preach brother, preach.
When I went out to visit friends in California they took me to In-N-Out because it was "so good". As you said, the burger patties were small and the fries were the sort of thing you'd expect from a not particularly well run Sonic.

A line with 40 cars at Chic-Fila-A will move you through move faster than a line of 3 cars at Popeyes.

Yeah, when I lived in California, they all thought it was the biggest deal. But they don't really have many good fast food places. Most common is Jack in the box, which is extremely dry and terrible. Fries are so-so. Then you have your normals, BK, McDonalds, Carl's Jr, Taco Bell here and there.
No Sonic, No Checkers/Rallys, No Krystals, No Chik-Fil-A's, No Steak-N-Shake, No Culvers.
They had like Del Taco and El Polo Loco.
I basically never ate fast food for the decade I lived there. Twice a year at most, and it was usually In-N-Out because it was a big deal to someone(anytime someone visit, they want to try it).
Had to find a bunch of mom and pop type places for good food. I miss some of those.

This.. Of all the weeks, you choose this week to come after my life blood.

I'd say my most overrated restaurant is Chipotle. I like getting bowls from there sometimes, but any other fast-casual burrito chain blows them out of the water, top to bottom.
1. Barberito's (Inside Athens only for me)
2. Willy's
3. Moe's
4. Chipotle

All of them. People like what they like and those that don’t will say they’re garbage. In-n-out was nothing special IMO. I can’t believe I was stationed on the west coast for four years just to shovel that pig feed into my gullet
