Ole Miss will probably beat us, but the other 5 remaining games are against trash teams. A 9 win season with a backup QB and nearly half the preseason two deep missing significant time due to injury will be a truly remarkable feat of coaching prowess.

This team is so hard to predict. Going 6-0 wouldn't be all that surprising, but neither would going 3-3.

(Edit: I'm not as high on Ole Miss as most on this board.)

I’m not going to assume a win the last game of the season in Death Valley. My guess is LSU fires O before that game and they get fired up, similar to when Miles was fired.

Miles was fired 4 games into the 2016 season. Not the same.

Look Mizzou got a long way to go to catch up with recruiting. I am happy for that new HC that is recruiting a lot better. Got to get them all together at the same time to make a difference. Going to be another 2 years to get those players to be playing and getting the OL men and DL men. Following the Stoops at Kentucky model.

The schedule sets up really well for A&M down the stretch. It isn't too horrible for Ole Miss either.

Having two of the weaker East teams followed by a bye to get some guys healed up helps. I think we beat Mizzou, SC, and PV, then drop 1 between Auburn, OM, and LSU.

I just hope the team is ready for Missouri!!

We’ve struggled with them for some reason!

Aggie defied the REC. My balls have a better chance of 9 wins this year.

Jumbo better curb-stomp any aggie phone in his possession.

Congrats on the win Saturday, but Jumbo is still trash.

Is it the eight feet wide holes the Hawg offensive line was opening for their backs and QB, the 40 feet hole between Rebel safeties where the Hawg receivers were running free, or both?

6/7 remaining games for the Rebs will be close contests (Tennessee on the road, Tigers in Oxford, Auburn on the Plains, Aggie at home, Liberty at home, and Egg Bowl in Starkville). The only one that won't is Vandy.

A&M's record will entirely depend on which offense/quarterback we get in the future. The one that was good or the one that was inept.

Agreed. Ole Miss not that great but who knows. If Bama can trip up over Aggie, anything is possible.

Ole Miss isn't a world beater, but their quick strike ability with Corrals deep ball will give us hell. Bad matchup for us. Everyone else is very beatable for A&M from here out.

I'm not absolutely certain, but I don't think any of our current players have ever played Mizzou. We can talk about X Team historically having problems with Y Team, but that isn't really relevant. When you have completely different staffs and rosters, the only constant is the uniform.

Credit to Jimbo, the staff, and the players for coming out ready to compete.

Calzada proved all the doubters wrong, including myself. He CAN do it.

Still a lot of ball left to play, though.
