We’re built to beat Texas spread schools, not power schools

Need more depth to compete against the Georgia’s of the world. Of course shooting ourselves in the foot multiple times didn’t help.

But our current make up is good for a few wins a year against spread teams, which will help recruit the players needed to better compete against the power schools.

no one is built to beat that. they have like 10 first rounders on the D alone. the dudes they have in the front 7 are NFL starters yesterday, and will play a very long time.

People need to accept that Georgia is loaded and this game told us we need to recruit better.

Guys if we had beaten Georgia we'da been talking about a possible national title. They're probably the best team in the country.

We're not there yet. Just gotta take these lumps and learn what we can to improve for going forward. No scheme saves us from the arse kicking we got today. They're just better by a large margin.

Yep, you know how having super seniors have helped us. Well, it's really helped Georgia.

We were just physically whipped today. End of story.
Both lines were whipped, you lose when that happens.
Didn't help ourselves with penalties and 'special' teams either.
We are not a bad team though, we just got manhandled at the 2nd best team in the nation's house.
It's Bama (best), Georgia (2nd best) and the rest of us.
I think we can hang with the rest.
We are better than last year and will go bowling legitimately.

I’m still pissed we even had to play Georgia this year after playing them last year. What a load of shite that was.

Our penalties are the reason we were scoreless and the margin of victory so large.

Their victory was almost certain. That team was bigger faster and stronger at every position.

Georgia looked like an NFL team out there.

I ain't even mad. UGA's a far superior team. It's not even close. This might be the year that UGA finally wins one since 1980.

The penalties and offensive ineptitude reminded me of 2007 vs Tennessee.

We had DMac and company and showed up thinking we were pretty good. Ended up just getting steamrolled with a loud arse crowd screaming in our face and didn't respond at all, we just rolled over. At least vs Tennessee we ended up getting a late TD IIRC. Also, this UGA team is far superior to that Tenner team, but just what came to mind today.

This picture brings that Tennessee game back like it way yesterday to me

Happens when 1/4 of your scholarship players are 5 stars.

That 2007 team could have done much better.
