At the end of the '22 season?

He won't be fired. He's taking the Pirate Ship to Baton Rouge. Mike Leach with easy access to skilled RBs and elite WRs to run his offense will dominate for years to come. The perfect LSU hire after O

He'll get one more year than the last guy.

He’ll get 4 years unless he has a 3 win type year. State cannot afford to keep firing coaches every 2-3 years.

He will get 4 years. Our team is full of starting sophomores if he can’t get us a bowl next year and a 8+ win season in 2023 he will be gone

I say both coaches (Leach and Drumphbo) are fuct if they don't win...

They won't fire him until after year 3 or 4.

After they win tomorrow, he'll get a 10 year extension.
Our evil plan is working.

3 seasons would be kinda quick but if he's 0-3 versus Kiffin at that point and the offense is still mediocre then State will probably make a move just to change the narrative.

Guy’s in his 2nd season with one of the youngest starting units in CFB coming off his first full offseason after a bowl win his first year and ppl are already talking about him getting fired.

This is possible, but in order for it to come to pass, we have to miss a bowl this year and next, while losing both Eggbowls. If this happens (which is unlikely) he'll be gone in 2023.

I think it will depend on his recruiting. If he can field a good defense and his type of players to fit his offensive system he should be able to win enough games to last awhile.
He has proven he can be competitive everywhere he's been so give him a decent shot to do it on this level.
It's not like he's a chad morris high school type of coach.

Yep. I don't see him lasting very long in Starkville.

Not soon because he is going to beat A&M tomorrow. In fact, I still can't figure out how he lost to Memphis State. That was a pure utter freak accident of nature. LSU was a different story. As LSU beat Moo State purely on talent alone.
Nonetheless, Jimbo and A&M don't have an offense. As Jimbo is not only an awful offensive coach, but he is also a piss poor head coach in general.
Meanwhile, A&M's fan base is the most delusional fan base in America.

Soon.
He was a colossally knee-jerk hire.

Won't happen. We can't keep shelling out money like that. And for what? To punish a coach after 3 seasons in college football's most competitive division?
