has separated from the bottom half of the SEC East as a program. It freaking blows my mind that fans of Mizzou and South Carolina just can’t believe they lost to Kentucky. The Cats have won 6 out of the last 7 against both of you. They’ve won the last 7 against Vandy. That’s 19-2 the last 7 years against the 3 bottom feeders. That’s a trend! Now we have Todd Grantham saying, “Kentucky is a much more difficult challenge than last week!” That tells you all you need to know about where UK and UT are as programs. The point of all this is that you fans of the have not programs in the East look at our logo and think there is no way Kentucky can be decent in football. We should beat them. But the data is showing UK’s challenge to Florida for the 2nd spot in the East is not a 1 year thing. It’s where we are as a program under Stoops. Get used to it because at some point you’re going to have to accept it!

Sounds like you're insecure. Nobody thinks Kentucky is a week off. That includes coaches, players, and fans.

Kentucky is clearly 3rd in the East… and Stoops has dineca great job.

However, Todd G saying an offense is challenge shouldn’t be a bragging point. He has trouble with the freshman powder puff offense.

I think we have to beat the true bottom feeder that is Tennessee more often to break the stigma. Losing to that team is just bad.

Win the east. That should keep you busy.

Think we’ve done this twice in the last 4 years. Thank you for your submission, proving OP’s point.

No they haven’t. A tie for 2nd is the best finish under Stoops. In 2016 and 2018.

Well, do you think that’s enough to be recognized as a team in the upper echelon of the SEC East?

Hey man you set the goalposts. I’m just saying we’ve done it half the time since 2016.

I’ll take that as a no, and that is correct.

You stated twice in the last four seasons. Which it clearly didn’t happen.

I like Stoops he’s a good coach. I think he’s about reached his ceiling at UK though having them at a consistently distant 3rd place in the SEC East. If that’s something to brag about then good thread.

My point exactly. You say “he’s reached his ceiling” because it just isn’t possible that Kentucky could possibly continue to improve more and more as a program. You just can’t fathom that can you? Programs like Oregon and Virginia Tech were historically garbage and they flipped the script. No reason why Stoops can’t or won’t do that here.
