This season has been exciting, but I don't understand the confidence going into Athens

Struggle to look even decent in week 1 against vastly inferior competition. Follow that up with overhyped wins against down teams that didn't look formidable at all and I just don't see how there can be confidence going into this week.
Now I know it's fun to hop on the bandwagon of the Cinderella, but considering the recent trend of catastrophic seasons and historical tendency to be humbled when on the cusp of challenging the truly elite it's tough to justify the level of confidence I've seen on display. With another representative of the truly elite class of college football up next this week, I certainly hope Georgia fans can keep things in perspective and aren't too hard on their boys for coming up short in the limelight yet again.

Don’t know a logical Arkansas can that thinks we are winning this game.
Could always be worse. Could be the Aggies thinking we have a legit coach and pay him $9m for one decent season

In 2014, State skyrocketed from unranked to #1 in just after beating then #8 LSU, #6 A&M, and #2 Auburn in consecutive weeks. Those three teams all finished with identical 8-5 records and 2/3 (Auburn and LSU) lost their bowl games.
The 2016 A&M team also comes to mind. They started out the season unranked but were #6 by the time they played #1 Bama in Tuscaloosa. They had three ranked wins at that time: #16 UCLA, #17 Arkansas, and #9 Tennessee. UCLA finished 4-8 and Arkansas finished 7-6. Tennessee finished 9-4 and ranked #22 nationally.

I think we can. Don't think we will, but I have a hope that didn't exist for years. We at least have a punchers chance. I'm hoping for a competitive game and no injuries. Plus, this game will tell us whether we're contenders or pretenders.

It's all about mismatches.
I don't know how Ark and UGA match up, but may be surprised.
Jordan Davis and the UGA line looks pretty nasty, but the same can be said on Arks DL.

Agreed. I don’t like this matchup for Arkansas.. but I’ll be pulling for them.

Can't believe y'all didn't see this coming, being that it was Drewbie. Hog fans have consistently been the best posters on here. I hope it continues, until LSU finds a way to spoil your season, of course.
