Sports guys on 104.5 and one from Alabama noted that Ole Miss is the game that Alabama coaches fear the most. Lane has a balanced and explosive offense, and being at Alabama four years he knows how to attack their weaknesses. On the flip side, loss in all the ranting over a close game at Fla, Bama’s freshman QB threw for 3 TD’s and no turnovers in Gainesville in front of a very hostile crowd.

Going to be a great, great game for fans who love SEC football to watch as is the Arkansas vs Ga game in Athens. Regardless of who wins it should be a very enjoyable weekend unless the refs decide to take a huge dump on the field.

Of course I would like to see Bama win, but I agree, I want the players to decide the games, not the refs!

Sad to see that the refs are becoming more important to the outcome of the games than the players and the coaches.

Here is you how beat Saban & Alabama..

Link: 17 Alabama Losses

From the link..

Nick Saban had 17 losses from 2008 to 2020.
(16 of 17 teams had a Sagarin Rating > 88)

6 Losses to National Champions
105.35 2016 NC Clemson
104.88 2019 NC LSU
103.16 2018 NC Clemson
100.81 2014 NC Ohio State
98.74 2008 NC Florida
98.06 2010 NC Auburn

8 Losses to Teams in the Final AP 2-10
100.30 2011 LSU (AP 2)
93.31 2012 Texas A&M (AP 5)
91.76 2013 Auburn (AP 2)
91.45 2017 Auburn (AP 10)
91.37 2008 Utah (AP 2)
91.16 2010 LSU (AP 8)
90.03 2015 Ole Miss (AP 10)
88.08 2013 Oklahoma (AP 6)

3 Losses to Teams in the Final AP 11-25
89.94 2014 Ole Miss (AP 17)
88.57 2019 Auburn (AP 14)
81.11 2010 South Carolina (AP 22)

Bottom line: You have to really fricking good to beat Alabama, and then hope that it is your lucky day. I knew Saban was great, but this is ridiculous.

EDIT:
Saban’s Record vs Sagarin Final Rating

24-14 vs Top 10

48-3 vs Teams 11-30
2013 OU 12th
2019 Auburn 13th

Bama doesn't do fear! Au Contrare Bama excites the fear in its opponents. While bringing the pain, pain, pain!

Better hope you are right. Bama’s QB is going to have to have the game of his life. Because Bama’s defense is sort of suspect.

CNS has always struggled with a true dual threat QB. Joe B 9 ran enough to exploit the LBs. Trevor did the same. If Corral doesn’t turn the ball over , Ole Miss will put up 45-55 points. The real question is can they slow Alabama down just enough in order to out score them. Ole Miss needs 4 stops that force punts/ turnover on downs. If they get them , they win

Yeah, talking about the #12 vs. #1 game the week of.

Clearly belongs in a mental asylum.

SEC refs looking to eat some Mexican before kickoff. You know that field will be covered in it… and there isn’t a damn thing you can do about it.

I was surprised to see Alabama open at -17.5 . Kind of took the steam out of expecting this to be a good game.

This isn't really true. He has struggled with highly effective passing QB's. Some of those could run(Cam, Deshaun Watson, Nick Marshall) many others couldn't(Stephen Garcia, Chad Kelly, Jarret Stidham). And I don't recall Corral running us that much in last year's game. They killed us in the run game on those quick inside draws after a big play though.

But there are major problems with the refs. That MSU-Memphis game, Auburn-PSU and even the Bama-USM game. The SEC refs are worse than usual this year

OM might be the hardest team to project considering their first three opponents and a bye week. How will the defense hold up? Will the chunk plays be as prevalent against a team with good DL?

Who knows wtf will happen? Should be fun

I disagree....all the heat is on Corral. He has never played in a atmosphere like he will see Sat. Will he have his Manzell moment or will he throw 3 picks ?

I love when people say this! What coach DOESN’T struggle with a tru dual threat QB!?

You have to account for an extra man basically. Without the dual threat it 11 on 10. There’s a reason college and NFL teams have moved in this direction.

CNS losses have mostly come via a “hot” QB making accurate, contested throws.
