fricking increase the schollies for baseball! Baseball desperately needs more scholarships. It's a shame that only 11.7 is the allotment.

If you can’t beat Arkansas with the #3 class, having 7 extra players ain’t gonna help

I don’t think this really helps an Alabama, Clemson, or Ohio State. They already have all great players. The best portal guys aren’t transferring to be back ups. This does really help that next group of teams that have spots they are weak and can sell the best guys on being the final piece to being a great team.

That’s 40 for Gumps. Not good for the sport that’s circling the drain. Rich get richer

From The Athletic ($):
quote:

Could the change become permanent?

This proposal is a one-year waiver, but the issue is not going away. Todd Berry, the president of the American Football Coaches Association and a non-voting member of the oversight committee, said the group will continue to work on a long-term annual solution, and the timetable is what led to this short-term compromise.

“The committee is going to be right back on something everyone can get around that’s more permanent,” Berry said. “I don’t think this discussion is ever going to end. I don’t think anybody believes we’re anywhere close to where we need to be.

I get what you mean, but consider that Alabama is currently starting a linebacker that transferred from Tennessee and a receiver that transferred from Ohio State.

well, that is bad just give the blue blood 7 more elite players and we at Mizzou get 7 more 3 stars. The gap was big now it is impossible to overcome so our goal each year is to try to get 3rd in the SEC East

The NCAA needs to expand baseball scholarships if they are gonna do this.
