Tough choices this week, folks. Many late hours were spent agonizing over the order of the Top 3, as well as who claimed that elusive 5th spot. The algorithm was fine tuned, the analytics have been analyzed, and the results are in:
1. Tank Bigsby, SO, Auburn:
343 yards, 4 TD, 47 carries, 7.3 ypc
2 rec, 20 yards
- Over 100 yards and 2 TD on the road vs a Top 5 team. The only thing holding Tank back at this point is the # of carries his OC calls for him.
2. Tyler Badie, SR, Mizzou:
345 yards, 3 TD, 48 carries, 7.19 ypc
15 rec, 142 yards, 3 TD
- leads the SEC in yards from scrimmage and total TD. Unfortunately it'll still be a few more weeks before we see him fully tested vs a competent defense.
3. Chris Rodriguez Jr., JR, Kentucky:
377 yards, 4 TD, 59 rushes, 6.39 ypc
3 rec, 15 yards, 1 TD
- still leads the SEC in rushing yards, but you can't rush for 46 yards, 0 TD, 3.5 ypc in a 5 point win vs Chattanooga and not take a hit in the rankings, sorry wildcats.
4. Jarquez Hunter, trFR, Auburn:
320 yards, 2 TD, 26 carries, 12.31 ypc (long 94)
3 catches, 24 yards
- leads the FBS in yards per carry. Absolute freak of nature.
5. Isaiah Spiller, Jr, Texas A&M:
250 yards, 1 TD, 40 carries, 6.25 ypc
8 rec, 80 yards, 1 TD
- Solid all around RB who's been pretty consistent his whole career, capable of making huge plays.
*Honorable Mention*
Trelon Smith (216 yards, 3 TD) and the entire Arkansas rush offense

If he's so good, why didn't they trust him to run the TD in on 4th down instead of throwing a shitty fade route?

And Corral leads the SEC with 5 rushing TD's.

You reversed 3 and 1.
How can #1 have such a poor game vs Chattanooga?

That, and a QB unable to stretch the field for him.

That was a bad read by Nix who was trying to draw PI

Ole miss probably has one in the top five we just have three running backs who are very good. I think we are averaging like 280 rushing yards a game

These are a power ranking. Recent results have impact. Sorry

Our Oline has been such a disappointment that sadly our talent at RB cant be seen.

Penn State 28

Tank Bigsby- 102 yards and the other guy with 63 yards isn't anything to write home about

Oh, well maybe if he was better coached they would have taught him that the ball needs to be catchable first.
But I must say, using a play in an attempt to get a penalty is probably the biggest indicator of not believing in your team I've seen. 4th and goal from the 2 - nope, we can't run it in, we need 4 more downs and half the yards free to get these 2 yards.

You can't blame Rodriguez. Our OL didn't open up any holes and he had nowhere to run.

, you're going to be in for a big surprise when you finally watch Auburn this year
Hunter would be starting for Bama right now as a true freshman
