The only noticable "leader" is Texas at the moment. The Cooper and Arch really like Sark and that relationship started back at Alabama.

Simpson will sign in 2 months.

I think Alabama is probably 3rd choice, at best, behind Tx and Ole Miss, but it wouldn't be unprecedented for an elite qb to sign with a team that is already in good shape. Even recently, Tua signed with Alabama in spite of the fact that Hurts was only a year ahead of him, and was the returning SEC Offensive Player Of The Year. Even more amazing, to me, is that Mac Jones signed the same year as Tua, so he's facing the returning offensive player of the year and an elite 5 star qb considered among the very best qbs in the class.

If I were a top QB with family ties to Ole Miss, and with Lane there, I don't see why he wouldn't go there. They have a pretty decent QB right now I hear.

He said some pretty great things about ole miss too. When he visits in October it will be his third visit with out coaches since July 26th

Oxford is amazing,” Manning said. “Coach (Jeff) Lebby and Coach (Lane) Kiffin are some of the smartest offensive minds I’ve ever met. I met with Coach Kiffin it seems like four hours and he blew me away with his knowledge and they’re going to put up some points this year and I’m excited to watch them.”

Are there any legit guesses as to where he's going to go? I honestly have no idea.
The Mannings barely say anything to the media. Arch isn't even social media either. I think everyone is completely clueless as to where he may be leaning (if he's leaning anywhere right now). I do think Lane being at Ole Miss probably helps them, although I've seen some Ole Miss fans claim Archie doesn't care for Kiffin due to his off the field behavior but other Ole Miss fans have disputed that so I honestly have no idea if that rumor has any merit.

A funny side note, in the Book of Manning, it was Arch who said he liked LSU when Archie was asking all the grandkids what was their favorite team. He then turns and said something like, "Wait, who? No you don't" Arch was a little kid at the time, so this is, in no way, me saying I think LSU has a chance. I would be shocked if any Manning ever ended up at LSU

Why would any five star QB want to go to Georgia?

He/his family also value academics so I would also see a school like Southern Cal or Stanford being considered. Maybe Notre Dame too

Is that why everyone but Peyton has gone to Ole Miss? They may care about education, but football has always driven their decision when picking a school. And ignoring the joking that goes on around here, if he applies himself, he can get a great education anywhere he goes. Both Eli and Peyton, for instance, graduated college in three years with really good GPAs and in non bullshite majors. ELi graduated with a marketing degree from the OM business school. Peyton was a Phi Beta Kappa in Communications.

I hope he goes to Ole Miss, it feels right to see a third generation of Mannings quarterback there.

He’s a 100% lock to OM as long as Kiffin is there. Don’t kid yourselves.

I just do not buy the Texas hype. They may have a good relationship with Sark, but it is more than just a coach relationship at the level of Arch. Texas just has a lot of negatives going on and I doubt they get worked out by his commitment time next Fall. UT is going to get pounded to death in the SEC for a few years before they get back to something middle of the pack. Culturally they have some demons happening there as well.

While I would love him at Ole Miss, it is a long shot. Ole Miss is not elite, although we may be good this year. Not a guarantee for his tenure. Arch choosing Ole Miss would be just keeping the story together of Mannings and Ole Miss. Although Lane\Lebby would be good for him. I will go on the record though, Arch at Ole Miss would make bigger news cycles than Arch at Texas.

Georgia, LSU and Clemson is just not going to happen.

If Saban is going to stay for 5-6 more years, this is his best option. It sucks, but they will be contenders every year and those Bama QBs are doing ok in the NFL now. Arch should not go here though without Saban, the pending crash and burn for Bama football when Nick is gone will be glorious.

It's a great program to transfer from. Our transfers have a great track record of being drafted into the NFL.

Think about it, if he came to UGA and won a championship, he would be a bigger star than Herchel Walker. He knows Kirby is about to go on a historic run with multiple championships.

Love to have him.

We've got 2 in the kitty already though with BVG and HS. I like our chances either way.

OM lock if Kiffin is here. Lane has Matty C at #2 in the Heisman odds right now. Imagine the #'s Kiffin and Manning would put up together - would be absurd.

I hate to say this, but if I was a talented QB headed for the NFL, I would play for Mullen. He seems to be able to develop QB's no matter what their star ranking was. Kiffin would probably be in this discussion also.

Cutcliffe is clearly the best, but he isn't going to Duke.
