"Athens is really cool. That was probably the coolest college town there is. Coach Kirby he has a good program. He’s a really laid-back good guy and seems like a guy I want to play for.” -- Arch Manning

The SEC legacy is the No. 1 recruit in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite. In June, Manning notably visited Georgia as well as Ole Miss, Alabama, LSU, Texas, SMU and Clemson.

What a legacy the Manning family has produced. I hope we win (him & the game!).

Maybe his dad remembers UGA's last championship.

Zero, or less than zero, chance that he goes to UGA. But he will probably get some pretty nice trim while he is in Athens, so good for him.

Legacy with a #1 overall rating from a rich family. Talk about absurd pressure.

Are there any legit guesses as to where he's going to go? I honestly have no idea.

“Coach Kirby”?

I can’t see anyone saying “Coach Nick”.

My guess is to Texas due to Sarkisian.

So is this kid just going to every SEC team besides Vanderbilt?

He shouldn't go to a school that has Will Muschamp on that staff, regardless of the position Muschamp holds.

If for some reason Young wins a Heisman this year or next he could end up in Tuscaloosa.

Ps. Stark could be OC at Bama in two years.

I'm pretty sure he's a senior next year. Sarkisian isn't going to be fired after 2 seasons. As for that, the kid will probably sign next November, which is during Sarkisian's 2nd season. And we know now that if a kid finishes his requirements early, he can start his college career earlier, like the kid at Ohio State.

If an SEC school, I'd think Ole Miss has a good chance due to his grandad and uncle, plus Lane Kiffin. Then, Alabama.

Normally you'd think he'd go where Cutcliff is, but obviously he's not going to Duke. I'd guess Texas, Alabama, or Ole Miss.
