Which is why all Gator fans are shocked Jones is still playing. Even my Mom who came over to watch the game last week who barely knows football was annoyed. When even she can spot who is better…it’s bad.

Y’all aren’t fooling anybody being “concerned” about Florida’s abilities. Bama was up 35-17 at the half last year and Florida had Trask, Pitts, and Toney.

Bama has been conditioned to play against a championship standard through years of experience in knowing what that is.

It means the stuff that is “OK” against mid tier and lower teams usually gets you beat against other championship level teams. An example is the LB play in 2019. D was “good enough” considering the offense against most teams, but you run into that LSU offense and down you go.

The OL isn’t championship level yet and the injuries to the pass rushers combined with the need to replace all of the leadership and like 5 1st rd picks is a major risk when you are trying to repeat.

i find it cute you're trying to be humble about this game, but you and i and everyone else knows Bama shouldn't be worried about this game.

I have no clue. 27-17 or something like that. We're still figuring things out on offense.

Y’all are giving Bama wayyyy too much credit this year. We aren’t that good on offense. Miami is horrid.

This will be a closer game than people think. We win by 13, but not until late 4th quarter.

We're pretty good on offense. We aren't "maybe best of all time" good.

I definitely exaggerated with the words. Bama fans definition of not that good is still better than most. And horrid could be top 25.

Bama will score early in the 4th to go up 31-17 in a hotly contested back and forth game when Merlens brings out his tried and true “keep it close” technique that he perfected during his time in StarkVegas with Dak. So instead of answering Bama’s touchdown with one of their own, Florida will start running the football up the middle and running the play clock down inside of 10 seconds every play in an effort to shorten the game and not get beat any worse.

I’ve never seen a coach other than Mullens stand toe to toe with an opponent for 3 quarters then walk away satisfied with a non embarrassing loss. I don’t get him at all.

With Richardson banged up I think Bama shuts their run game down and forces Jones the throw the ball.

Richardson tweaked his hammy and will see little to no play.

Is this accurate? is he more or less out? He looks like a Mac Truck running the ball. I haven't seen his throw the ball much, though.

Bama 44 Fla 27

Injuries piling up could be a costly game for both sides.

Though I pray not!
